Worst game of the year!!!!! Don't waste your money on this title!!!!!

This month is all about the Saboteur. Only a few more days, its almost here! @ rishi_storm I think you should invest in the saboteur.

Saboteur looks awesome, Avatar might be decent, aside from that this weeks list is pretty weak.

well, at least this week I can save some money with a release list like that, but Saboteur comes 12/8, can't wait

Rogue Warrior Ill have to check the reviews on. Because it does have Steve Marcinko onboard that alone is whats got it on my radar

Rogue warrior is trash from what I've seen so far, the sabouteur is what to get. yeah and maybe the avatar.

Huh, Rogue Warrior, there's a game I have heard next to nothing about in a long time, and now I see it is releasing tomorrow ? Somehow I do not see that as a good thing.

The avatar of James Cameron...I kind of prefer my avatar...

Avatar might be cool - after all it looks very similar to the movie (the two can be virtually indistinguishable).

wow i thought that the Avatar game was the one on Nickelodean. Cuz the font looks exactly the same and I remember seeing a trailer for it a long time ago.

@ Humorguy_basic It is hard to get away from the shooter. I much prefer "original" gameplay but what can you do. I try to buy games for how they will draw you in and not so much the perspective of the character. Two of my favorite games ever are Animal Crossing and LittleBigPlanet also Picross, Shadow of the Colossus, Katamari are all excellent along with Forza and Gran Turismo. \ \ There are many good games out there that aren't shooters, they just don't get as much hype. However when I look at my collection, the shooter does make up the largest section.

@NinoSwaG, Lord of the Rings 2 and 3 were movies made into games and they were great, at least the GBA versions were. Personally I see nothing this week, but I'm not getting anything for a while anyway. The best release this month will likely be the Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. Even if I don't get it it still sounds pretty cool.

@ rishi_storm Dude....I highly doubt that you have to get only one of those games. There are sooooo many better games to get. I can see that you are ONLY a PC gamer but just wait a bit. AC2 will be out soon. There is L4D2, Dragon Age, Modern Warefare 2, Borderlands, and many other "older" games to get. \ \ No offense but limiting to those two games is garbage....Dirt 2 would be OK...but only if you LOVE racing games.

@ rishi_storm: Save your money for December and get both of these in the January sales, where I am sure they will both be half price! You can see from this list, at least on PC, why so many gamers are moving to indie games and going back to retro games! Do you know Daggerfall, a 20 year old RPG, when made free by Bethesda, had over 150,000 downloads in the first week! That, and ovr 5 million DOSBox downloads must tell you something about what PC gamers think of modern shooter gaming!

So here's the deal: i can buy 1 game for this month (dec) and have narrowed down to 2 choices. 1. J.C. Avatar -PC 2. Dirt 2 - PC Which one should i go for!!!

First of all, a lot of movie based games are rushed by dome no name 3rd party dev. But this isnt true for all movie games, and Avatar actually looks pretty good.

First of all....Avatar??? Its a game based on a movie....and from my experiences with that....THEY SUCK! now those other releases...hmm..im not gonna be jumping up waiting for gamestop to open to get any of them. actually i dont even think i will get any of them except Reflex and ill wait for a review and price drop. Most of the good games already came out and the rest of them dont even come out until 2010.

Count me out for any of these. Next new game I want is Darksiders, then most likely Mass Effect 2 afterwards.

Crap, all crap. Once again I am able to catch-up with games already bought. I think that I may also pick up Tekken 6 this week.

Shooters here, shooters there, shooters bloody everywhere! Is it any wonder the majority of gamers in an IGN poll (37%) say they are going to b playing Dragon Age over the break, and the game is still No.1 in Gamespot's chart, which I believe is based on how many clicks various articles/pages are being clicked on! With Mass Effect and Bioshock both being more shooter than RPG, according to their publishers, and more and more shooters due in 2010, I think we're close to saturation point, where most games are going to lose huge amounts of money!

If Avatar gets a decent review, maybe. Rogue Warrior is a no based on horrible user-reviews. It really does suck when there aren't any good video games coming out every couple of weeks.

On note that if you are looking for a new game there is only two decent games here for you to possibly get : DiRT 2 (Native dx11 support for Windows gamers) James Cameron's Avatar: The Game Now, if only Zombie Driver would cost 5$ it would be worth mentioning.

Rogue Warrior will be epic fail :P Rebellion is a lousy dev and last they came out with action game it was : ShellShock 2: Blood Trails ..

Rogue warrior is realy meh,with a side of F for every sentence.MX vs ATV Reflex is a pretty good racing game,i suggest picking that one up at retail price.

all of these games are forgettable since Modern Warfare just came out. Retails sales of these games will suffer badly on 360

Its already December, man this year flew by.

I want Rogue Warrior to do well also, but it hasn't had a lot of a footage in terms of, well... anything! We shall wait and see.

I wish Rogue Warrior looked better than it does. It seems to have potential but something just seems off with the game. Who knows, maybe it will turn out to be halfway decent. And count me in among those who have no clue what to think about the Avatar game. One gameplay video makes it look like total rubbish, the next makes it look like a fun and exciting 3rd person shooter.

The Lord of the Rings Online: Siege of Mirkwood. Yay!

I'm hoping that the movie won't suck. Same with the game.

I'm going to be waiting to see what people say about some of these before bothering to look myself. Thou, I'm hoping the movie game is decent as the actual movie looks pretty intense.
