Shippin' Out 4/10-4/14: Tomb Raider, Auto Assault, Odama

when do the awsome games for xbox come out i guess since 2 big hits came out last month that this month would be a little bit slower.

i'll probaly look out for odama

Looks like the best Tomb Raider yet! Thankfully, since the other ones suck!

Game ratings are so completely f-d up these days. Anything lower than 8.0 is considered sh!tty by gamers. The whole concept of 5 or 6 being 'average' is gone, thanks to meta-critic averages. Nowadays, an 'average' title is a 7.5 grade it seems, while a 7.0 is almost "Don't go there" territory. Sadly, the average scores include rating from the most unprofessional backwoods gaming sites imaginable; fools that are easily manipulated by gaming PR and give 9.0s to meh games. It all disappears into that average score, and few gamers bother to research the sources of the score if they're not GS, IGN, etc. Sad state of affairs. All this is to say that a 7.8 score for TR:L is, you know, pretty damn good.

I was going to pick up Tomb Raider for the 360 until I found out that it was short... I'm not paying $60 for a game I'll have beaten in the next couple of days, and from teh screen shots I'm not seeing substantial improvements enough to warrent the extra $$. Still, it would be nice to get a decent 360 game that isn't a FPS.

Man! Tomb Raider Legend sure did pick a perfect week to come out. Hardly anything good is coming out this week.

Odama should be great....the video preview on GameSpot was nice. Can't wait to pick it up today. ....so it can stay wrapped until I beat KH2. :)

Tomb Raider demo for the Xbox 360 is ok, not that great.

I didn't know that the Last Bone game did well enough to warrant a Sequel, but that is good news.

Yes April the month of Aries is an exciting one for games and all those that take the lead. I can't wait to hear all the reviews for the games of this month.

Maybe BF2, but maybe not. I have to start Oblivion all over again since my sister erased my game. *sigh*

I would say if you do not have a 360 and you have a decent PC, get Condemned, that is a good game with good graphics
