Sega ships NBA 2K3

Sega announces that the latest installment in its NBA series of basketball games is now in stores.

Sega has shipped the PS2, Xbox, and GameCube versions of NBA 2K3, and the games are now in stores. According to Sega, the game is the first to use a new graphical technique called specular highlighting to show the players in the game sweating. The 2K3 edition also sees the series entering the online arena, with both the PS2 and Xbox versions offering online play and downloadable content.

The suggested retail price for each version of the game is $49.95. For more information, check out our previous coverage of the game on the PS2 , the PS2 , and the PS2 .
