SCEA outlines Q1 PSP schedule
System set to celebrate first anniversary in March with SCEA releases of Pursuit Force, Syphon Filter, Ape Escape Academy, and Daxter.
Sony Computer Entertainment of America has taken the wraps off its first quarter PSP release plans, and it appears quite back heavy, with four of the lineup's six titles set for release in March.
Pursuit Force, Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror, MLB 06 The Show, and Daxter are all set to arrive in March (with MLB receiving a more specific March 1 date), with next week's release of Ape Escape Academy having to tide anxious owners for a six-week calm before the February 28 release of Neopets Petpet Adventures: The Wand of Wishing leads into the March release storm.
"Our first quarter lineup is yet another example of our continuous pledge to consumers to deliver viable and innovative new entertainment choices for the PSP system," said SCEA executive VP and co-COO Jack Tretton. "With the PSP system's first holiday season demonstrating incredible sales and market penetration, we will continue to drive the unprecedented demand for the PSP system with compelling content for gamers of all ages."
Neopets and MLB 06 are rated E for Everyone, Pursuit Force is rated T for Teen, and Syphon Filter and Daxter have yet to be rated. Stay tuned to GameSpot for more on these titles as their releases near.
