Saints Row 2 officially canonized

just hoping saints row 3 would come out soon

SR2 will kick GTA4 ass...

I think GTA 4 been set in a New York type of city might be its downfall in a way due to the fact there will no longer be planes and such to fly around in it's been a great addition to the game since GTA Vice City everyone loved it because it was different but yet they cut it out this time around. BIG MISTAKE! But SR2 seems to understand even this small addition to the game is gonna make a big difference witch will surely pay off!. i still gonna get GTA but am looking more foward to SR2.... I get to make my own Gangsta like COME ON how cool is that!

WOW co op planes. GTA IV doesnt have that. Cant wait just sold my copy of saints row today looking forward to buying this. hopefully itl come out this summer.

I seen somebody getting saints row for the xbox and gta4 for the ps3. this seems silly to me as you get online xtras the microsoft. feel free to get one for each but swap that about surely shirley.

I heard that SR2 is coming out 5/09/08. In this one, i heard you take revenge on julius and everybody else that was on the bridge for the story mode.

Its looking good so far, especially the 2 player campaign part. Still playing Saints Row , can't wait for Saints Row 2. P.S. - gta has some competition now

i hope they let u creater your own gang in story mode so you can be able to recruit ppl off the street and stuff also have more odd-jobs that you can do for money

It will be the main rival to Gta iv given that it has similar content to the Grand theft auto series

this game is gana kick ass i loved the first one and still play it to this day the sequill hopfully keeps the city but adds on to it i kno that city and dont relly like lernin wher S*** is all over again i hope u get to keep all yr houses and maybe creat yr own gang that would be tha S***

why are u all complaining... if u dont like the game dont get it and if you like gta more... get that instead... no one cares what the hell you think is better i will certainly be getting this game and i will be getting gta 4 as well... i love both and cant wait for either...

I hope Rockstar steal some of Saints Row's ideas for GTA 4" Apparently there is now a GPS feature in the map for GTA IV, which shows the player the fastest route to get to their destination. I also believe pistols may now be able to be employed in drive bys. Jut a couple of things R* probably picked up on post-Saint's Row.

saints row was my ish i loved the online games. it was better than gta 3 imo. sr2 will probably be better than gta4. i love i made myself in the game then i went with the blonde mohawk.

i'd buy this over GTA 4 anyday, even though there is not too much information about this.

Saint's Row was the Sugar Honey Iced Tea. Can't wait for the sequel.

I am interested to see where THQ takes this game. Saint's Row may not have had the best story, but the ending was EXPLOSIVE...ha ha...get it? Explosive?! IT WAS EXPLOSIVE BECAUSE THE BOAT EXPLODED! ...anyway, it was a hell of an ending that leaves a lot of room to build on. Hopefully, SR2 can produce a narrative that's solid all the way through.

It better be a much bigger and better version of Stilwater - I am sure that many, like me, have explored it the first one to death and don't want to see the same thing recycled in the sequel ....

Well this is a definite must buy for me, and if it comes out at the same time as GTAIV, I'll just have to buy both.

This game was great. But if I had to rate sandbox games based on the graphics, story, and overall fun, I have to rate as follows: 1. Mafia 1 (2 is coming) 2. SR 3. GTA I am definitely looking forward to Mafia 2, SR2, and GTAIV
