Roy Halladay starting for MLB 2K11

@jdog8888888 That maybe true, I didn't say the whole fanbase. But alot are. Also I have no control over joins Philly fanpage. I block tons, but trolls just kept coming. lol. It gets old after awhile. I don't have problem with ppl who join and talk baseball it's the trolling and talking crap I hate. (when they don't even know the first thing about it) You see it now people talking crap about Halladay. I don't know how many trolls i counted that posted BS. I have Mets friends, Brave friends. Trash talking is one thing trolling is another.

@Eclipse_ShinRa I have been a Giants fan my entire life. The worst fans are Dodger fans btw. As far as trolls on facebook, you have control of who your friends are there, so maybe you should look into that some. Doc had a good year. I think Timmy will get the Cy this year if he stays healthy. No hicups this year, and he will have all 4 pitches going from spring.

Who cares who is on the cover? They need to focus on the actual game itself.

I hope they at least add better celebrations.. on a HR with runners on they need to wait for the guy who just went yard high 5's etc.. The ability for My Player to become a free agent without your team auto signing.. I want my player to sign a huge contract after a monster year. I recently started playing 2k10 again with my current player I finished the season with 59 HR 140 RBI and 120 runs scored and 37 SBs.. i want to sign an extension or something good like that.. and when my team wins the WS they need to jump the rails of the dugouts and mob each other.... there was this one time where i was the Cubs and i signed Ken Griffey Jr to a 1yr contract.. I put him in the game via PHer he hit a Walk Off HR (with his swing and little strut and all) that was to win the NLCS yet no celebration at all just like any other win

I just hope this one is better than last years...they need to breath some new life into this franchise...I really wish The Show would come out for 360 :(

I hope this one is as good or better then 2K10, that game was almost the perfect game, The my Player could have maybe been upgraded a little, and the pitching a little more forgiving

I used to buy the 2K games every year, it was like clockwork for me the day it came out it would be in the xbox, then i got 2K9 and after 4 games (2K6, 2K7, 2K8, 2K9) of getting pi$$ed off at the querks and glitches in the game ive decided never to buy another 2K baseball game and the other 10 people i know that play it have said the same thing. Im sober from 2k baseball now for 1year and 287 days and loving my new life, with The Show on PS3

ps. i hear rumors that jose bautista is on bigs 3 and they dnt wana put on the show votto cuz a lotta people arent "familiar" with him..watever if ur a tru bball fan ull knw who he is.. thats wak..

Why can't they get baseball games right? I mean, 2K did a fantastic job with NBA 2k11, but when it comes to baseball, forgetabouteh.

The award is call the MVP, it stands for the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER, The Reds wouldn't have made the playoffs if it were not for Votto having a terrific season, there is no argument against that, there simply is not. Votto was more valuable to his team than any other in the NL which is WHY he was the MVP. And for you saying the Show is a horrible game. Have you ever even played it? I get both every year and there has never been one year where I would rather choose 2K, but thats just an opinion. Again, the Cardinals didn't even make the playoffs, if they had Pujols would have won it (assuming the Reds didn't win the wild card if that happened however if they both made it Votto still had a MVP type season and you cannot take that away from him)

The Show is a horrible game for one.. and two Votto doesn't deserve the cover of any game.. It should be the MVP's of the 2010 season Josh Hamilton and Albert Pujols.. I know Pujols didn't win but he should've the only reason Votto won is because the Reds made the playoffs

maybe Joey Votto, Miguel Cabrera or Felix Hernandez will be on The Show 11.

For The Record....The Giants had 4 home grown pitchers in their rotation as opposed to the Phillies just having Hamels. So saying the Phillies have hired guns is actually correct.

Also, I wouldn't call Halladay a hired gun since he wanted to come here and he took a big pay cut(he could waited another year and gotten more money) and we also got rid of Lee to make room. We we didn't have too. Our line up could have been. Doc, Lee, Hamels and Happ. 4 good pitchers not just 3. You are acting like we are the Yankees and if the was the case we would be keeping Werth and going after Lee. I wish they would it would be worth it in end, but our owners are being cheap imo. Sellout out all those games yet they don't have money to resign Werth or go after Lee. BS. Plus they are raising ticket prices? But the point was, before all this, I seen so many people call Halladay a shtty pitcher that shouldn't be on the cover(visit the 2k11 fan page)that is why i blow up. Halladay was best pitcher this year. Look at his stats and what he done this year. Timmy is great as well maybe in few years he will be better then Halladay, but right now his not. imo

They was worse thn Yankee fans we have every year. Also our fanbase? I wouldn't talk the media loves to trash us every fanbase has classless fans. They was many Giants fans causing fights etc during the playoffs. The media just ignores when other teams do something stupid crap. Hell Yankee fans sit flares off at a game. Yet we barely heard nothing about that. If Philly fans did that, it would be all the news for weeks.

@Eclipse_ShinRa Yep, hired guns, namely Halladay & Oswalt!!! We on the the other hand raised all of our starting pitching in our farm system. Also, I was just voicing my opinion here about Lincecum being a better pitcher & also, since you bring up reason/s for hating Giant fans, you need to take a CLOSER look at your fanbase............all classless reeks, showing no class whatsoever to visiting teams...................

Anyway, the Show will be better no doubt. But sitll getting this. I Do hope they fix stuff in my player mode. For 2k11 be the same lvl as the show. They have LONG LONG way to go. If they fuk this up. 2k needs to sell it EA.

sorry maybe I went to far saying it was fluke. Phillies and Rangers went thinking it was easy win(something you don't do in baseball) That is why good teams lose the Pirates etc. Giants showed up, Rangers, Phillies didn't. But I be damn when people go''He isn't that good.''That is nothing but BS. I hate other teams, but I iwll not ignore the fact they have good players on them.

2K10 was great...hopefully they can make improvements

The MLB 2K series has been up and down for me the last few years. 2K8 was good, but 2K9 sucked for me. 2K10 was great, but will the trend continue with this game? We'll just have to see if it's good enough. Anyway, they've also had a trend with who's on the cover going back to 2K8. They had a non-pitcher (Jose Reyes), then a pitcher in 2K9 (Tim Lincecum), a non-pitcher in 2K10 (Evan Longoria), now they're going back to a pitcher with Halladay. That could be another trend to watch for in my opinion.

@ohjtbehaaave if its any Giant it will be Buster Posey. Or it should be him IMO. Tim has been on MLB cover before. That is if a Giant player gets on it I think Posey has earned it.

@gskywalker09 Sorry the Doc is better. Its not His fault the team didn't show up. Only guys that showed up was our pitchers. Lee was due to get beat plus the comments he made you don't do that in baseball. Lee and Doc are the better pitchers. Also with the Braves game. He was lucky the Braves was just swinging at everything. The way they played game he could have threw one in the stands and they wold have swung..

@princepointe I wasn't crazy about MLB 2k up until this past year, but it's now definitely the better game for true baseball enthusiasts. Hell, 2k even did their roster updates far more accurately than The Show's crew.

Alright first of all, yes, Tom Magrino clearly knows little about baseball; Sabathia is not in contention for the same Cy Young Award as Halladay. However a lot of you seem to need a lesson yourselves. You do NOT have to be a starting pitcher to be eligible for the Cy Young Award. Voters favor starting pitchers to the point where relievers have very little chance for winning one, but they are ENTIRELY eligible, and the top closer of the year usually cracks the top 10 when the results are in for the Cy Young Award.

@Egotte, your probaly the ONLY person i've seen say 2K is even close to being better than the Show. The Show is the 2nd best sports game ever next to Fifa. I actually bought a PS3 just for The Show

@ItsEvolution The Show has plenty of issues. I much preferred 2k10 last year over The Show, after having owned both and played them both for hours on end. The Show may have had an edge in visuals, but that was about it.

Actually, gamespot, he pitched TWO perfect games. One in the playoffs. Or maybe the one in the regular season was just a no-hitter? In any case, this guy is awesome.
