Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City free DLC drops April 10
Special Ops mission arriving next month on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for Capcom's third-person shooter; no mention of PC release.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City hits retail next week, and publisher Capcom has announced that the game's first downloadable content will follow shortly thereafter.
Due out on April 10 as a free download for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the DLC takes the form of a downloadable mission that puts players in the boots of the game's Special Ops soldiers. The content revisits the events of Resident Evil 3, specifically the moment where Jill Valentine battles the nasty Nemesis.
Capcom made no mention of the DLC hitting the PC version of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, which is slated to arrive on May 18.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is due out on March 20 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Developed by Slant Six, the game puts players in control of a half-dozen special commandos employed by The Umbrella Corporation, the sinister pharmaceutical corporation whose unethical experiments caused the rash of zombie outbreaks in the first place.
