@Gravity_Slave @Tahir_Ahmad its everything from the customization of the in-game settings and controller options, all the way down to the ability to modify the actual programming of games that makes pc superior. thats that. you can see that the aiming system in this game has been ported from that of a console controller and needs work (a tell-tale sign of port from console is the reticle goes red when aiming at a target. RE games use a lazer sight instead), and its things like that which cause games like this to be released later on pc. adjusting settings for better framerates is something thats never been possible on a console, to my knowledge. the bottom line: consoles are for kids (compared to pc's that is, cause i'm a console gamer too and love it), and are a way to make alot of money outta games. pc will always be better. plus, if it can't run something as nicely as you want it to, you just upgrade a component or two and shazam! otaku heaven.
RE: Operation Raccoon City infecting PCs May 18
Capcom reveals release date for Windows version of upcoming shooter, will debut two months after Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 iterations.
PC gamers can take part in Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City on May 18, Capcom has announced.
In addition to announcing the game's release date for Windows, the company confirmed the game will sport Nvidia 3D Vision support. The PC version of the game boasts the same features as its console counterparts, including eight-player online and four-player campaign support.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City puts players in control of a half-dozen special commandos employed by The Umbrella Corporation, the sinister pharmaceutical corporation whose unethical experiments caused the series' rash of zombie outbreaks in the first place.
While most entries in the Resident Evil series have players either containing a zombie outbreak or working to expose the truth behind Umbrella's dirty dealings, the commando's job in Slant Six's game is to cover up the company's dirt and make sure there are no survivors in Raccoon City.
The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will deploy on March 20. For more on the shooter, check out GameSpot's latest preview.
