Rayman Legends will be available on PC at launch
Ubisoft confirms Rayman Legends will launch on PC alongside console versions.
Rayman Legends will be released on the PC, Ubisoft has confirmed.
The PC version of the game will be released on the same day as the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and Vita versions: August 30 in Europe, and September 3 in North America.
The PC port will be handled by Ubisoft Chengdu, in conjunction with the game's main developer Ubisoft Montpellier, with the Chinese studio having previously worked on Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game.
Ubisoft adds that anyone preordering the PC version of Rayman Legends on UPlay will be able to download Rayman Origins for free.
Rayman Legends was originally announced as a Wii U exclusive, but Ubisoft delayed the game earlier this year to allow for a multiplatform release.
Ubisoft says the extra development time on Rayman Legends has allowed for more content to be added to the game.
