Rayman Legends release date moved up in Europe
Ubisoft's side-scrolling platformer now slated to launch August 30 in Europe; North America on for September 3.
[UPDATE] Following the publication of this story, an Ubisoft representative confirmed with GameSpot that Rayman Legends will launch in North America on September 3.

Rayman Legends will launch August 30 in Europe, ahead of its previously announced September release window, publisher Ubisoft has confirmed.
No new release date for North America was provided, but games typically launch three days before in the US, meaning Rayman Legends will likely arrive in the region on August 27.
The game was once a Wii U exclusive, but Ubisoft announced in February that the game would also be released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
"We heard from many Xbox and PlayStation owners and Rayman fans who told us they really wanted to play Rayman Legends on their current system," Ubisoft said at the time.
