Rambo game will use movie voice-tracks

Upcoming action game to feature original voice work from Sylvester Stallone and Richard Crenna.
Reef Entertainment's upcoming Rambo: The Video Game will feature original movie voice-tracks for John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) and Col. Samuel Trautman (Richard Crenna), the publisher announced today.
Rambo: The Video Game takes place during the story arcs of movies First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II, and Rambo III. Players will hear familiar dialogue, along with "rage-screams" and other various exclamations from the movies.
The game is due out this year for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. According to Reef, the project will be of "triple-A" quality and "capture the gritty atmosphere and full-on action which made the Rambo movies so successful."

We've had a tons and tons of rambo games when yo think about it. Regardless I just imagine this being garbage.

Screams and blows up everything "Wierd Al" Yankovic style. Yep, parody based off of that First blood part 2 movie too.
I could not understand how aircraft could start after not being cared for, and start up like it was yesterday and fly, let alone guns firing. I never like the movie because of the fact that those things just don't happen in the real world. I will pass.

@c8ing I think because all these games as Rambo inspired. Rambo is like those Chuck Norris jokes...he's a complete bad ass and a one man army. When people run around rogue and dont use team tactics it's called 'Going Rambo'. John J Rambo is a fuckin icon and a good game should be given to fans as an homage to the man that started it all.

4 Like Haha find it funny they are making a game out of the first movie. That is about a seriously broken down, mentally unstable, war vet who has a psychotic break down after some dickish cops abuse him a bit. Rambo didn`t really turn into a generic action vehicle until the second film. The first film definitely had some great action but it wasn`t really great ``game`` material.

1 Like @Fursnake Yeah you're kind of right. There was a script being shopped around by Stallone before the 2008 Rambo came out that was based off a novel called "Hunter" (author was Jim Huggins I believe). It had some sci-fi elements that Rambo would have to deal with. It had a genetically altered beast in it.
