QuakeCon 2002 sign-ups tonight
Those interested in attending id Software's upcoming action game convention can register this evening.
Sign-ups for QuakeCon 2002, id Software's seventh annual action game convention, begin this evening at 10:00pm ET. The first come, first served registration is being held at the official QuakeCon Web site. Those interested in participating in the QuakeCon Quake III Arena tournament are encouraged to sign up early, as the available slots are expected to fill up quickly.
QuakeCon 2002 will take place August 15-18, 2002, at the Mesquite Convention Center in Mesquite, Texas, and more than 3,000 people are expected to attend. In addition to hosting tournaments and LAN multiplayer games, the event is traditionally a forum for a number of significant game announcements and demonstrations.
