PS3 Greatest Hits library adds seven

@darthfett13 demons souls is really not that hard of a game. people just need to stop playing it like an action game and realize its an RPG. take it slow and methodically. patience and keeping calm are the key to each fight.

@darthfett13 when i got it i was not looking forward to playing it, I was scared §hitless until i finished the first boss. It´s easy, dont trust those gamespot noobs saying its hard!

I'd happily own everyone of those titles except for demon's souls because it's like the most hardcore game you can find

@blackace is your in Canada its only 14.99 at Wal-Mart until Thursday, lucky i got Tekken 6 2 weeks ago for $9.97 NEW! @shkar i have never played the other Tekkens but i find Tekken 6 very fun. Anyone know when greatest hits start in Canada? I went to EBGames today to get MAG and they said its $59.99...

I picked up Tekken 6 for $16.99 about 3 weeks ago at Fry's Electronics. lol!! I would like to get Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, but I'm sure I can get it for under $20 on Ebay. MAG is going to support MOVE now, so that should be interesting. I have no plans on getting it though. I've spoken to friends who've played it and they said it was crap. Said the people playing don't want to listen and work as a team 1/2 the times. Only time it's fun is when you can get 10-15 friends playing at once and working as a team. Did M.A.G. even sell a million copies?

MAG has always been great especially if you appreciate team work and fps games that involve skill.

Its not like they don't know that these games are already cheaper often times used at eb u can get them for less than that. the thing is they want to try and sell more of them for new and alot of people strongly prefer new games and think half the original price is a steal. i really want to play demon souls still. but thats why i have blockbuster online.i can have two games out at a time for 18 bucks a month. or i can have any combo of blu rays and games out. renting battlefield bad company 2 right now and alien 4 (movie)

Oh and I forgot to mention, the new Greatest Hits box looks great! Really digging that red

But seriously, why? @bowlingotter - It actually does, I'm gonna get thumbs down for this comment as well but after Kerrigan won this Greatest villian thing, I was concerned. (to each his own). Sony is making both of them greatest hits to make money, nothing wrong with that, Call of Duty doesn't deserve that title.

World At War wasn't really that good. I had a big déja-vu feeling with that title.

TEKKEN 6 will be on my to buy list,,,,,,,,,,although I know that the game has become disappointingly bad .....

it would be nice if they put some new trophies in these greatest hits titles

Demon's Souls and MAG - the best RPG on PS3 so far and the best FPS on PS3 so far. About MAG - it will be totally different game pretty soon (via update 2.0). Will be noob friendly game finally, so those "who hit the trashcan with MAG" might even be able to kill someone after 2.0

MAG greatest hit was when i bought it and it hit my trash can as hard as i could throw it. that has to be the worst 12 bucks i ever spent!!!

Agreed with Tarkatan, Street Fighter IV and (in my opinion) Soul Calibur IV were much better games than Tekken 6 was, and personally I think it got kind of drowned out in the release slate so I'm not so sure it sold well either. The rest of these games are awesome and deserving of the new status though, and I hope it gets them in the hands of more gamers.

Tekken 6 doesn't deserve that status, it's a pathetic game. The rest warrant greatest hits status.

Its about time CoD 4 and WaW went platinum. That makes them them the first multi platform games to do so.

Hopefully this means more MAG players. Good game with excellent post-launch support.

Demon Souls is an awesome game. The $30 price tag is worth it not to mention Tekken 6 is amazing too. Very worth it.

Demon's Souls is awesome. Frustrating and hard. It will keep you playing for some time. Well worth the price. The Lady in Black is waiting.

If you guys haven't picked up Demon Soul's yet, and don't mind getting destroyed, it is an amazing game, like hands down the best and most unique gaming experience I have had in the last 5 years. Hope they bring another out.

All right. Now I can buy Tekken 6 with no problem.

I'll be getting GOTY Uncharted 2 and GOTY Dragon Age Origins. I set my PS3 up years late, so I'm behind the 8-ball now. Trying to catch-up, but it's not working out with a busy schedule.

@ColonelGuile, good question, I used to think it was after the game broke $1 million in sales, a la Xbox and the Platinum Hits. Its most likely another method to generate more sales though....

MAG is the most unique objective-based FPS I have ever played, and it's loads of fun. Good to see this and Demon Souls on the list... but don't they usually release GH titles after they have been out for a full year?

When I read "adds seven", I thought to myself "Holy crap, I'm going to be SO broke." But from that list, I only want Demon's Souls, which had already been announced as a new Greatest Hit. Too bad.

I miss the days when Greatest Hits titles were $20.... I'm sure I can get them for cheaper than $30 on Half.com or Ebay.

i got cod 4 for 15 bucks like 4 months ago on ebay, doesn't make sense that they'll try to sell these old games for $30 when you can get em cheaper off ebay

They forgot Borderlands!

First four titles will now occupy my shelf. MAG should have been released at $30. Mainly because the game is packed with endless spawn camping and 80% of the enemy team sniping. I still enjoy the title, but poor executions kept me from purchasing it. Lost my copy/or it was stolen of Demon's Soul, so I will have no issue repurchasing it at that new price point. Been wanting MotorStorm and Ratchet and Clank.

MAG is a really good game, and with the patches it has gotten much better.

MAG is a really fun game glad to see it made it tot he greatest hit list already :)
