PS3 getting exclusive Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood DLC
Ubisoft announces Copernicus Conspiracy add-on will be offered free to purchasers of upcoming action adventure on Sony's console.
Sony has been heavily courting potential purchasers of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood by securing desirable exclusives for the PlayStation 3 version of the game. The first of these perks involved a PS3-exclusive beta-testing phase, which offered the first public look at Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood's all-new multiplayer component. The next will involve a batch of post-release downloadable content.
Today, Ubisoft announced that PS3 purchasers of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood will receive complimentary access to the system-exclusive Copernicus Conspiracy add-on pack. The Copernicus Conspiracy add-on will be available for download through the PlayStation Network on the same day that Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood hits retail shelves--November 16.
The Copernicus Conspiracy DLC will focus on the titular Renaissance-era astronomer who first advocated that the earth revolves around the sun. As such, Ezio has been charged with defending Copernicus from those who wish to bury his theories--and the man himself--engaging in missions that include courier, assassination, and protection missions.
