PS Vita out in Singapore this February
Wi-Fi version available for S$399 on Feb. 22; Sony HK yet to announce dates for rest of Asia.
While Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong currently have the PS Vita on sale, the rest of Asia has yet to enjoy such a luxury. Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong recently announced that the portable gaming system will be available in Singapore on February 22, the same date North American and European markets will have the device available on shelves.
The Wi-Fi model will be available for S$399 ($309). The games available at launch are Army Corps of Hell, Asphalt: Injection, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend, Dungeon Hunter Alliance, Dynasty Warriors Next, FIFA Soccer, Escape Plan, Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational, F1 2011, Gravity Rush, Hustle Kings, Little Deviants, Lumines: Electronic Symphony, Michael Jackson: The Experience HD, MotorStorm RC, Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus, Rayman Origins, Reality Fighters, Ridge Racer, Star Strike Delta, Sumioni, Touch My Katamari, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Virtua Tennis 4, and Wipeout 2048.
The accessories available for sale at launch include four versions of the Vita memory card (4GB, 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB), a USB cable, an AC adapter, a cradle, and an in-ear headset. Sony Hong Kong has yet to announce plans regarding the 3G version, as well as the local telecommunications company they will partner with. Sony HK also did not announce the retail price for Vita titles in the region.
