PlayStation Vita owners can sign up for PlayStation Plus next week, Sony announced today. The premium subscription service will launch November 19 through the v2.00 system update. Just like with the PlayStation 3 version, PS Vita owners can sign up for three months of PlayStation Plus for $18, or they can elect to subscribe for the entire year at $50.

Gamers who currently hold a PS3 PlayStation Plus subscription will not need to pay extra for access to the PS Vita version.

PlayStation Plus on the PS Vita will offer subscribers 1GB online storage for game saves, automatic updates, and Trophy syncing.

Additionally, members will gain access to Sony's Instant Game Collection, which includes the PS Vita games Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Jet Set Radio HD, WipeOut 2048, Gravity Rush, and Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack, as well as the PSP title Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions.

PlayStation Plus launched in June 2010 for the PlayStation 3 with a $50 annual fee. The regular PlayStation Network service, which includes online multiplayer, has been free since the PS3 launched, and there are no announced plans to change that.
