I preordered and get all this for free

Everyone is just taking a page out of EA play book...lets disk lock content then says its DLC and make people buy it over priced...I am so sick of this

WHat they need to do is come out with a story add on DLC, to extend the lore of the game. Not horse armor stuff, that you can't really even use in the game.

The two DLCs just add few more weapons, powers and skins, no additional story or achievement, so I am not planning to get it.

Can you imagine how much money they would be making if they lowered the price of games from 60 to 30? :O their payment would be flying in! But noooo it has to be $60. Just wait, they "might" lower it.

economics man... Back in the day developers and producers didnt have to have as much money on video games because they were easier to make not just cause of the technical power but on also how much profit they have to return due to investors if the company is properly owned.

If it were up to Activision and EA they wouldnt nickle and dime us but they are puppets to the stock investors which will only put hefty cash on a stock if they're will be a immediate profit on their investment so in order for EA and Activision to remain heavily funded they have to throw out these dirty money grubbing tactics to please the greed and disadvantage of putting a game producer on the market thats why a company like Valve (Privately owned) would never do anything like this.

(Its also the reason why half life 3 isnt out yet cause they dont need to rush to perfect their game they can take their time cause they dont have to meet the demand the stock buyers want which is fast profit.)

This is why I think that if this continues it will only get worse in the comming years and the game industry will only keep inflating in these prices where eventually we have enough and stop buying games or these dlc which will cause the industry to crash due to the slowdown in profits and these companies will have mass lay offs due to them not being funded because of lost demand of the investors.

The only survival of this soon crash will be private and indie, which will only scale us down from the technology that which will only get better but the developers cant face the price tag. I dont mind but this but i dont think we will ever reach the ability to have reality gaming like in a machine that we envision 30 years from now... god dang i have alot on my mind...

Sweet, the first one was mediocre at best. This game doesn't look like it's worth my time either, I wasn't ever planning on buying this game. But now this just makes me sick.

Eh, I had fun with the game, but already beat it and feel like selling it back.

I don't understand why everyone here is complaining since this sounds like some of the crappiest extra content I've heard of.

The moral of this article- Dont ever buy a game when it is $60 because you will be slapped with a dumb dlc 2 weeks after release which should've been free

It would be awesome if Radical Entertainment or Activision, whoever's putting this dlc out, if they read all the complaints below. I wonder if they would do anything about it?

Yay! More Disc Locked Content!

Got this today, was good fun :)

It's a shame that the force multipliers are game-breaking and therefore disable achievements etc...I thought they were going to be similar to mutations. Doesn't matter, at least when I want to mess around, I have more reason to pick up P2 for that reason.

Would also like to thank MS for the free MSP.

Personally im gonna wait til early June to start playing the game again and start doing the the sets for the Mercer skin and whatnot. Already 100% the whole game with no difficulty. I would have been happier if all this *ahem* "free" content was already there in a game thats already lacking content, let alone fresh content

15% is for DLC . So keep buying and don't be surprised if it goes 70-30..

People will complain about anything i guess, got a couple of skins, a pretty cool weapon and some cool new moves to mess with, i already love P2, and this will make me like it even more. If 5 bucks is really gonna kill me, i guess i can you know, not eat out once this week and have spent the same amount of money.Also this is not nearly as bad as some other DLC 

We already paid $60 freakin bucks for this game. That, especially in today's economy, is a LOT of money for a game of software entertainment.

What else out there for everyday entertainment is THAT expensive? Going to the movies is about $10 and buying them is anywhere from $15-$25. An iphone/mobile game or app is cheap usually not any more than $10. And yes, I know these almost never have depth comparable to a console game but entertainment is still just ENTERTAINMENT. It doesn't always matter how deep it gets, Whatever passes the time for the cheapest dime is the way to go. And it's not like video games are only a little bit more expensive then these other forms of entertainment. It's a LOT more expensive, which brings me to the relevance towards this article.

Why are we being asked to shell out more money for content when we already paid a whopping $60??? (which I just explained is already becoming too much). It's just not right. It started out as just some extra costumes or a few maps, but now the list goes on. Before Prototype 2 came out, I remember seeing ads on gamespot that said, "50 free pieces of DLC when you pre order". That's a load of BS! Why should I have to pre order a game to get content that it should already come with? Content that the developers already created and they just plucked it out to be sold separately? And then all these stores have their own "exclusive" pre order content. Why should some players be left out of ANY kind of content just because of WHERE they decided to buy their copy of the game? It's sad and it is corporate greed. If DLC is launched with the game or near after, it is wrong. It defeats the purpose of what it was originally intended to do. They actually have the balls to ask us to PRE ORDER DLC for Max Payne for $30!!!!! WTF?!?!? And these are for multiplayer MODES not just silly costumes, etc. You will not get to play these multiplayer modes unless you give into their greed.

What's gonna happen next gen? Prices of games usually go up for a new console....Are you actually going to pay $70 for just ONE SINGLE GAME?! That's a whopping $140 to get two games, tax excluded. Oh, and then you'll be forced to buy DLC to play the game at its best potential.
