Vita just keeps getting better and better. Sony is really doing this game line up right this time around.

@graveyardfire I had a little fun with it. But if you've played the last few Mortal Kombat games, then it's just the same old game but in 2D. In my opinion, Mortal Kombat started with digitized fighters, and I think it should of stayed that way. Even in complete 2D, it seems the franchise has lost a lot of it's "maturity". Especially when you have Johnny Cage being arrogant and cracking jokes. You never saw any of that in classic MK. In contrast, the music was always dark, the fighters looked like real people and all-in-all it was just more bad ass! This game, I got bored after a few days.

I haven't played this yet... Unfortunately... I wish/hope they make a port for PC soon... PS Vita getting some great titles... :) Neat.

To answer your questions below: Yes Kratos is a character, Yes the game comes with all DLC characters included, It also comes with the DLC skins and fatalities. It's basically the "Komplete Edition" on PSV. As for the "new content", I we'll have to wait and see. Hopefully the PS3 version gets that too

I played the hell out of the PS3 version so if there is a way to transfer my game save that has the combat... er....Kombat tower beaten, krypt unlocked, DLC characters purchased, all alternate costumes, and trophies unlocked then I would be soooo happy!! Let me pick up where I left off and add some new content to the package and I'm sold because I don't feel like doing all of the same stuff all over again.

Awesome. If they add enough new features I might buy it whenever I get a Vita just to be able to play this game on the go. Though it does suck of pc gamers are being left out. :/

Awesome! MK on the PSP was a great game, and I've sunk a load of hours into it...I can see myself doing the same thing when I get this for the PSV :D.

Fighting games can easily look next gen on portable machines, imagine MK in the mighty VITA!!! Apart from the AAA quality, there is one more reason for every VITA to buy it. Replayability!! No matter how many times you finish this game, there still is a load new fighters and moves to learn and mini games and tons of extra content. Also the multiplayer factor of this game, it multiply its value.

Suh-weet!! Me thinks I shall add that to my Vita game must buy list. This & BlazBlue should hold me off for a while in terms of fighting game until Tekken x SF gets a release. ;) (And 'yes', I said that right. I'm not interested in SF x Tekken as much for art design reasons.)

This is cool and all but...I wan't to see more original games...people complained about 3DS games at first being old ones revamped...but...I see a repeat here...all these games are or will be on consoles (consoles which are cheaper and can be played on HDTV).. I think all games for the Vita and 3DS should be new ones..not ones we already have =_=

This breathes new life into my vita interest. Imagine the poor child behind me on the airplane when they watch with wide open eyes as I rip a spine right out of a bloodied victim..... yeah.....maybe Mortal Kombat isn't the best portable game now is it? Chances are though, the system is still going to fail. Sad :(

Wow, vita also seems like it will flourish in the fighting game department. It's my favorite genre :-)

@zzamaro-it is.i saw it on ign or psblog but its supposed to have it.they're releasing a console version thats going to have all dlc on it in May.Its supposed to be called the Komplete edition or something.

Cool, but with all the empty promises that the ps3 and psp failed to deliver, I just don't believe anything that sony says. Don't get me wrong I hope it (vita) turns out great, but judging from what sony has been doing this will once again fall short of anything sony promises.

Weird, didn't see the cover when i first commented here. So I think I have to back off my first comment which I wondered if it was going to have DLC characters. So the covers tells me it will have them but the news doesn't say anything about it.

Any chance of a 3DS release? I have MK on my PS3, but I would really dig having a handheld version. Still, future Vita owners should pick this up, it's a great game.

Mortal Kombat will add to the Vita's impressive library nicely. I just wish owning a Vita isn't going to be so expensive, but I'll probably still buy one.
