Payday: The Heist - Left 4 Dead crossover in the works

this sounds great i really love both left 4 dead games but i prefer left 4 dead 1 over 2. i also have played payday, its good but not as good as left 4 dead no way near. the idea of payday was good but the team ai was really bad they never picked me up if i went down and if they had ammo bag or medic bag they never dropped them, but payday online is much better as it removes the rubish ai and that makes the game feel so much better. so the only things i ask for this is;

1. please let us have left 4 dead 1 survivors back ( i hear this game is a prequal to left 4 dead 1 so bill will live again)

2. overkill please oh god oh god make sure the ai is a lot better in this game

3. valve dont let overkill ruin this game series

4. be more left 4 dead then payday

5. if its a cross over dont do anything stupid like cops and zombie robbers or robbers and zombie police

Maybe Payday The Heist takes place before the L4D zombie virus took over. Then this crossover will take place during the actual virus take over and we will see what happens to the Payday Heist crew.

AWWWWW SHIT. I always did say this game was like L4D, but with cops.

Neat.  I do love my L4D, and I tried out Payday on it's free weekend.  It's an interesting  game, but something about murdering hordes of police officers didn't make me feel very good.  It's nice to see a co-op survival game that's not about zombies but it's just not for me.  Playing as the bad guys never really sits well with me, though I am strangely curious as to what this is about.

I love both of these games, but I'm really having a hard time grasping the concept here. I mean, if you are robbers and if zombies have taken over the world, then what good is money?

I actually put more hours into Payday then I did with L4D. Either way, both games are great and I can't wait to see for this crossover to be released!

Checked the calendar. Not April 1st. This is either going to be amazing, or completely ruin L4D for me...

"I am sure it is so exciting that it will have some players check into the hospital before we are done." Well Im sure players should check in the grave yard as soon as Valve announces a new Half Life.

Left for dead was a Bust series anyway. 

I waited too long for it, & was sorely disappointed. They offered nothing new 

to the genre... besides killing zombies 1st person w friends. But it can be better

Left 4 dead is better. While Payday was great, the support for the game is lacking and once they updated the game ( 6 months after launch), they broke it. Hopefully valve will be doing the programming lol.
