Pandora's Tower launching in North America in April

The Wii-exclusive RPG will hit North American shelves this month for $39.99.
North American JRPG fans can finally experience the next Nintendo Wii RPG, when Pandora's Tower hits gaming store shelves later this month.
Publisher XSeed Games has confirmed that the game will be out on April 16 for $39.99. To coincide with the announcement, a North American website has been revealed.
Pandora's Tower originally launched in Japan in 2011, with an English version going on sale in Europe and Australia in April 2012. GameSpot praised its combat and time-management mechanics in its review, but criticised fixed camera angles and a lack of enemy variety. For more information, check out GameSpot's full review here.

Well I guess Pandora's Tower might be the Wii's last good video game and real swan song.
2 Like I definitely have to give it up to the creators by Operation Rainfall. They gave NA JRPG fans a chance to voice their desire to play Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story, and now, Pandora's Tower. I like seeing stories like this when fan's voices actually make their missions become a reality. I don't own a Wii, but I'm happy for those who do and will get the chance to play this JRPG.
Pandora's Tower I may have to dust off the Wii one last time. For $39.99 this is worth it. A very late but still great port for the wii.
North America finally gets this game after ZenoBlade Chronicals and The Last Story. It is difficult to believe that there is one last game to buy for the Wii in 2013.
Heck yeah. Had mine on reservation for a lil bit. Glad they decided to put an official release date out =D
1 Like Preordered this nearly two months ago. Not quite as excited for it as the other two OR games, but still very happy it's getting a proper NA release. Very pleased with my Wii library.

6 Like Glad the last game in the three RPGs we stood up, raised our fists high in the air and shouted our voices for is finally being released here in the states. I will happily be getting my copy to complete my collection.
@Kaiser499 Don't get too excited it's not even close to the quality of the other two. In fact, it's rather bad.

I have Xenoblade and The Last Story. This one always looked like the least interesting of the three to me and not one I had to have. But I'm glad it's finally coming stateside.
@xOmniCloudx Really? At first it looked like the most interesting to me, but I guess it all depends on the kind of games you like. Xenoblade is an absolute masterpiece though and Pandora's Tower is not half bad either.
@Chico86_basic @xOmniCloudx I liked The Last Story better than Xenoblade personally but both are great games. Still not what I would call masterpieces though.
8 Like It took its time, but I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Its no xenoblade chronicles, but still a very very enjoyable game.
The Last Story, Xenoblades, Pandora's Tower all in HD for the Wii U that's what they need to do to shift their new console. I'd buy it today if they announced that.
1 Like @blueinheaven I would rather have something like GTAV to be perfectly honest. Nintendo can't keep relying on the same franchises even if Bayonetta 2 is a great start to change that!
@Chico86_basic @blueinheaven Thing is... I never played those games on WII. Like many people I moved on to HD before it even came out. I'd love to play them now but they would look shit on a HDTV. Just hoping they give them a makeover. If they do I will be a Wii U.
7 Like If the Wii did one thing better than the rest of the gen, it was to deliever good JRPG's in 2011 / 2012. Everyone bitched about Final Fantasy, when they could get great titles like Xenoblade and The Last Story, but they were too snobby 'cause it wasn't in HD (i still suspect the people bitching to be 13-14 year olds... cannot possibly be adults)
This isn't exactly a JRPG, but it's still a nice japanese game, so get it!
2 Like @DaneGamer No, not 13-14 year olds, people like me who paid a lot of money for a large screen HDTV. Games made for SD look absolutely awful on HDTV they don't scale properly. So don't blame us blame Nintendo for constantly releasing hardware that's 500 years out of date.

@Chico86_basic @blueinheaven @DaneGamer PS3 and 360 have been out for 8 years how many people do you think still have CRT TV's? Nothing wrong with it but game development has moved on, Nintendo have not and never will.
Wii U has just come out and will be 'last gen' by the end of the year. It's already 8 year old technology.
2 Like Of the 3 Operation Rainfall games, I was least excited for this BUT will still get it (although I have it preordered, I might not get it day one depending on how much money I have, plus since it's XSEED who's bringing it over, I highly doubt we'll see a shortage of it like Xenoblade).
It's normally the other way around, there are plenty of games that get a US release, and then never released in the UK, or released a year later.
1 Like dumb that they released english version for PAL (europe, etc.) 1 year ago and they didnt do the same in the US voices were unique enough that they would work for US gamers anyway will see the difference great game!

1 Like Nintendo wasnt going to release this game in North America. X seed had to buy the NA rights from Nintendo.
Yesterday I decided to look at the new releases section for WiiU figuring they'd probably have more stuff coming out since the system has been out for a little while now.
Dumb.
Then I saw this and was like, "Hey look they're gettin on the ball, every 'new' game for WiiU helps."
Double Dumb.

15 Like @silversix_ This game has been anticipated in America for quite some time now. Besides, this isn't really that strange, games were made and developed for the PS2 well into the PS3's lifecycle.
