Nintendo Store Update: Mega Man X hits Virtual Console

I'd get Megaman X, but what's the point? I have the original cartridge, and Megaman X Collection. If they release a Megaman game that hasn't been released here, maybe I'll buy it, but they probably aren't making much money because you can play almost every Megaman and Megaman X game on Wii if you own the compilations.

I might have to download Mega Man X. I don't have the X Collection for my Gamecube, and man, that's a rare game these days....

So much nostalgia.... Megaman is one of my favorite series of all time, hope Keiji Inafune can get the rights to make more or something.

Or be wise and download the snes emulator and game rom for free. Not even 1$... Ha ha ha, i'm evil

@M3tr4nk0g Exactly. You can get it used for 19.99 at Gamestop and it contains 7 Mega Man X games! Or you can pay $8 for one game. Nintendo, I love you but you are failing lately.

why not release megaman on dsi ware

best mega man game period....i grew up with the NES and love mm2 and mm3 (and 4 for that matter) mmx3 trumps them.

X Collection for $10? Where? Anyway I'd still pick the GCN version of X Collection simply because A. I've already played this on PSP (Maverick Hunter X) and B. You can save.

@ CorruptGamerGX You ain't never lying. I was just about to comment on that. Or if you're like me, I have homebrew on my wii with every nes, snes, genesis and gameboy advance games. Also, some N64 games. My neighbor did it for me for 5 bucks. It's awesome! Nostalgia

Hmm... Megaman X for $8 or Megaman X Collection for $10. This seems like a tough choice.

I opened this in hope of finding information on the 3ds eShop :( They should hurry up already! I'm becoming impatient, I wan't to see the classics they'll have to offer!!!

Actually, slickvic1990, that's more of Capcom's doing, not Nintendo's.

Why exactly did it take Nintendo this long to release Megaman X on the VC? just imagine how long its gonna take for X2 and X3.....get it together guys!
