Nintendo holding DS press conference
Satoru Iwata and executive Shigeru Miyamoto will present new information on the portable next month.
TOKYO--According to Bloomberg Japan, Nintendo will hold a press conference on October 7 in Japan to announce more details on its DS handheld. The highly anticipated portable is projected to be Nintendo's top product for the holiday season.
Nintendo president Satoru Iwata and executive Shigeru Miyamoto will be attending the press conference. Details on what will be announced are not known, but it is possible that the price and release date of the handheld will finally be disclosed. It is also likely the press conference will be a response of sorts to Sony's executive summit next week, where a PSP announcement is expected.
