Ninja Gaiden 3 strikes March 20

As much as I like Ninja Gaiden Black and two, I may pass on this if the Reviews are good enough, and the only Hack N Slash game I want to play and look alike NG is Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

This doesn't look impressive at all. I'm hoping for the best.

I really feel this is gonna be far to chaotic to be really immersive....... but theres still time. Bring on a hardcore Tenchu game. The original was so sweet.

People thought multiplayer won't work for AC and Uncharted, either

@HipHopBeats That's fair enough if the game was already an over rated shooter (simple puzzles, too much action, barely any character development, simple here to there plot) but Ninja Gaiden is a series that has already proven itself in the single player segment. The first Ninja Gaiden was one of the best games ever released, the second wasn't but was still one of the best combat systems around with remarkably fluid and quick action. This MP looks crap I'll admit, I've played Ninja Gaiden 1 - 2 (every iteration so NG, NG black, NG sigma, NG2, NG sigma 2) and I'll say it's just not made for multiplayer.There's no way you can turn his move repertoire into fair gameplay for M. The game was designed for single player fun and like alan wake or deus ex would do, it feels weird as a multiplayer because it has to lose parts to fit MP or keep them and feel awkward due to some useless / overpowered elements.

I've learned from Uncharted 3, when a game trailer or beta focuses on MP, don't have high expectations for the SP campaign. Honestly this looks unimpressive. A renter or price reduction purchase at most.

@theonesofgames Truth be told the original Ninja Gaiden was in fact a multiplayer game, at least the original arcade version was. They only had two player simultaneous gameplay though not 8 players. Still it sounds kind of arcadey from what I saw in the video. For those who have never saw the original arcade version of Ninja Gaiden, I provided a link above., check it out

I am not sure if NG3 multiplayer is going to work. Period.

Was devastated when Itagaki left cause I loved NG. I hope Hayashi doesn't drop the ball on NG and DoA.

The multiplayer looks boring, it is a bad i idea to begin with. Instead give us single player missions mode like in black/sigma and stop this nonsense. So we are going to get Katanas type of weapons and only one ninpo for single player mode, 8 hours only and maybe less if you are skilled, the game is easier than ever, no decapitations and dismemberment. The latest gameplay footage showed that Ryu took Hayati's sword, and i thought that i was going to see new moves, still the exact same moves as the Dragon sword. I am very disappointed by NG3, still i am going to get it because it is my favorite game, but i really miss Itagaki.

Really looking forward to this. I love the NG games. Glad it's gone back to the violence, too. It wasn't the same without it. Though, I do wish they'd bring back the decapitations and dismemberment.

This game is going to be a real treat for those of us who are true long term Ninja Gaiden fans. Not fans that started with the Xbox game, but from the arcade days and especially the NES days. And heck even the Sega Master version. Why? Well the man who wrote the stories for the NES versions Masato Kato(He also wrote the stories for Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross as well) will be the writer for this game. He stated that characters from the NES games will appear. For us, that means we may get to see Irene, Foster, Walter Smith, Jaquio, Ashtar, Robert, Malth, or even the Demon? Well no matter what, there is a possibility for a real throw back to the series.

Remember when Itagaki said there will never be a NG3, well since his departure from Tecmo they made NG3. Awesome hey, haha he must look like a fool now

I wish I could slay people online in NG. Most people button mash instead of learning the moves and I would love to do an acrobatic sword dance on the face as their getting diced into pieces lol.

This will be interesting to see how they do without their top honcho. If a good portion of the staff is still together then I think we don't have anything to worry about. I actually prefer the Devil May Cry series over Ninja Gaiden though, but both are great franchises.

if this was online game play it be nice game to buy.........its worth it......always wanna play a sword game like this online

3 months is a long way. i hope they improve the speed in that time. i also cant wait for the multiplayer, reminds me of mgo :]. i have faith that this team will release a good game. they just a problem with building positive hype among fans(some fans). they got me hype and im a huge of doa and the sigma series.

Black AND Sigma are two awesome games I beat countless times. NG Black, in fact, was one the reasons I had an xbox 1. NGII, on the other hand, is a good game with lots of blood and other stuff but not really as good as Black/Sigma. MP on Sigma 2 was also good but didn't get me much attention. Not very excited about ng3 by seeing at the way is heading.

Sorry, I liked the gameplay in sigma two. I loved all the different weapons and characters I could use. This one won't have the same gameplay, the multiple weapons, or multiple characters so really theres no incentive for me to buy this when i'd much rather play other games I know i'll like.

I dont want a stupid statue I want more exclusive in game content. Multi-player? WHAT?!?! It looks like it will get old fast.

For Those ( sigma 3 comments ) There wont be A sigma Title ..... Because SIGMA games were ports of xbox version of NG and NG 2 To the PS3 Since both Versions Will Come The Same Day Thats what i Guess) PS : (unless the WII U version will have something Special They Might Name it SIGMA 3 :P )

Can we get an easy mode. No offense but this style of gameplay is not my strong suit, but I like the story, but what I played of Sigma on ps3 was brutal on any difficulty.

So ninja gaiden is going mulitplayer never saw it as a mulitplayer game but hope it will be a good additon to ninja gaiden

Somehow, a gimmick present in only one (or 2 if you consider a port) game in the whole series is the most wished feature. Go figure...

I have low expectations.. Ninja Gaiden Black is in my top 5 of all time. NG2 was ok.. And if the drop off continues I expect this one to be worse.

im sorry but adding multiplayer will have no effect my decision to buy or not, it will only make me want it more, if they fix it.

@vega13mv: seeing as how this one is multiplat from the getgo, there might not be a sigma version for this then again, seeing as how they released black on the xbox, anything is possible

the only collectors editions i've ever thought were worth it are any of the zelda games
