NewsSpots: XBLA, Pirates, Red Steel, Backyard Hockey

maintaining leaderboard spots is cool in Live, but I think there should be a lot more contest to see who is the best kept leader in online games or single player scores. What better way to get people trafficing on Live more, contest that credit goodies like store points, special themes/avatars, maybe even a little exposure thru the Live community thanks to a 360 camera (which should be apart of the winning package)

I noticed a lot of people on that XBLA blog fail to realize certain games are impossible due to copyrights issues; requesting games like Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy VII? Lol, really people.

i say get goldeneye's multi-player portion of the game and put it on xbox live. everyone would want to buy that, i know i would!

gwilo . goldeneye will never come to xbla . it is to big of a game, how ever it should come to wii , vc activision owns the jamesbond license and frankly rare wont do it bc of that and , i dont think goldeneye would work on 360 it still costs 20 $ for the actual copy so if it even does come dont expect to pay 400 points for it ,

X-Men Arcade with 6 player co-op would be awesome. And release full games for other stuff (i.e. 800MSpoints/$10 for 3 pinball tables is not a full game).

I hope MS will actually look at some of the XBLA requests. I asked for Mutant League Football and Super Tecmo Bowl III.

"I say put Killer Instinct or KI2 on Xbox Live Arcade." Hell yes. They have to add online vs though. The one game i'd always suggest is: MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 2 with online play. I'd be playing that constantly if it was there. Playing it more than I played actual physical games.

if microsoft done a yellow xbox 360 with homer on it they should bring the old simpsons arcade game to xbla.

Those backyard sports games tend to be rather fun.

Lidstrom earned it... great hockey player. I might be tempted to pick up a hockey game for DS, particularly if it's casual like Backyard Hockey likely will be.

Just got the Red Steel soundtrack. It being the first good thing I noticed about the game. Great job!

Well, I checked my itunes store and it has the RedSteel soundtrack for 10$, seems about right. I'll probably download it soon.
