New Wipeout Fusion screens
Sony releases new screenshots from its high-speed racing game for the PlayStation 2.
GameSpot has received a handful of new screenshots from Wipeout Fusion for the Sony PlayStation 2. This latest game will look to advance the series' strong lineage by improving the track design and the overall speed of the game. The futuristic racers in Fusion will reach higher top speeds than in any previous Wipeout game and the developer hopes that the final product will run at a blistering 60fps portraying a sense of speed that is better represented in this latest incarnation of the series. Naturally, the soundtrack in Wipeout Fusion will feature an eclectic array of electronic music tracks.
Wipeout Fusion will be released for the PlayStation 2 later this year.
