New! Video Embeds on Forums and Blogs

By Staff

GameSpotters are now able to embed GameSpot, YouTube, and Vimeo videos.

Hello GameSpotters,
It is indeed a happy day in the GameSpot offices. The sun is shining, the air is clean, God of War: Ascension and StarCraft: Heart of the Swarm have been released. And if all that wasn't enough to make for a good day we have some awesome news for you! Users now have the ability to embed videos from GameSpot, YouTube, and Vimeo in their blogs, and forum discussions.

Doing this is easy, to upload a video from GameSpot or YouTube copy the embed code (ctrl+c), the text you get should look something like this:

Then paste it (ctrl+v) into your blog, or forum post. See, it just that easy!

Remember, if you're uploading a video you created be sure to include #videodrome for your chance to be spotlighted in an upcoming community feature on GameSpot.

Be sure to keep it classy GameSpotters.

@macattack1459 Make sure you are using the "iframe" version. If you use the one with "object" in the .html, it won't work.
