New screens: Galleon
Interplay releases new screenshots from the Xbox version of its action adventure game.
Interplay has released new screens from Galleon, its upcoming action adventure game. Currently in development at Confounding Factor, which was founded by Toby Gard (one of the cocreators of Lara Croft), Galleon puts players in the role of Captain Rhama Sabrier, who commands a ship known as the Endeavor. Sabrier will have access to a variety of weapons, including guns, his fists, and a sword, that he will have to use while progressing through the different locations in the game. The game's combat also uses a lock-on system so the camera stays fixed on one particular enemy during the entire fight sequence.
Galleon is scheduled for release this fall on the GameCube and the Xbox.
