New Rayman 3 power-up details
Ubi Soft reveals details of two of the five new power-ups that Rayman will employ in his third adventure. New screens inside.
Ubi Soft has today released information on two of the five new power-ups that Rayman will have access to in his third adventure, Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc. The first, the heavy metal fist, is essentially a huge knuckle duster that players can use to smash through walls, locked doors, and enemy barricades, as well as to deal a mighty punch to enemies in combat situations. The second power-up revealed today is called the iron jaw, which resembles an animal trap on the end of a chain. This gadget will mostly be used as a grappling hook, but, like the heavy metal fist, it is also quite effective against enemies. Today's screenshots show both of the new gadgets in action.
Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc is currently scheduled for release on the PS2, Xbox, GameCube, and PC in the first quarter of 2003. For more information, check out our previous coverage of the games using the links to the right.
