New media: Top Gun: Combat Zones GameCube
We have new screenshots and a movie from Titus' arcade-influenced flight combat game.
Titus has released new screenshots and a movie from Top Gun: Combat Zones for the GameCube. The game will feature 36 different missions set in three different time periods. There will be eight different planes to fly in four different environments including Southeast Asia, the Gulf Coast, the naval base at Mirimar, and the Arctic Circle. Unlike most of its contemporaries, Top Gun will concentrate on arcade-style action that will make it easy to pick up and play. A variety of weather conditions and day-to-night transitions will keep the action varied, and a bonus scoring system should give it some depth. Players will also have the ability to build their own missions.
Top Gun: Combat Zones is currently scheduled for release at the end of July. We'll have more on Titus' flight combat game when it becomes available.
