New Hitman concept art released

Hopefully they don't ruin the Hitman Series

I hope they go back to the old gameplay style and put a save/load system in game.

My apologies for the bad lay-out of my previous message, as I said I almost never post anything unless it is such an emergency!

It is so sad these days to see where they are going or went with many great series, it seems like they don't know what they are doing anymore. (Splinter Cell, Devil May Cry etc.) I seriously hope and wish so badly that this stays a concept! Agent 47 is the true and only one hitman of these series! The games are build around him! It is not only about making hits, completing contracts, it is about doing this with agent 47. If they want something else at least create a new IP then.

I hope it is his archenemy or something, we will only know when they make it public. Until now it is all still speculation.

I normally never comment on news or something at all, but for this tragic and horrible concept art I did come to comment. I really felt I needed to!

It is of course concept art and there is no telling what will happen in the future.

Change does not have to be bad, but it can be, especially when you try to make something like this. (Or what they are maybe planning on making).

I am just concerned about my favorite series and try to show/convince other people of the points in my opinion. (I hope a lot of people agree with me :-) )

Well with art like this there's no question of who to keep an eye on when a VIOLENT hitman job goes down...WHAT IN THE WORLD YOU MUTILATING FREAKS??

It's about time we see a different looking Hitman. I was getting tired of looking at the same ol' balled head. Sorry. But his appearance was getting to repetitive, redudant, and tiring. He looks too plain and general. I like protagonists or anti-hero that has a more of a unique look. It seems like they're bringing that with this dude. Can't wait to see more!

as long as they stay true to the Htiman series core, then they should do their own thing

I'm surprised when developers try and go a new way with a series/franchise and get criticized by "fans" but when they regurgitate the same content over and over, they get criticized for not trying to move the series forward. Lose/Lose situation out here. And if anyone is really mad that Hitman won't be the same without Agent 47, I have two words for you. "Timothy Olyphant." Technically a name, but still. 

Screams Alucard from Hellsing series IMO.

There is only one word to describe that concept art: DISGUSTING! What the hell is Square Ex doing to the series? Hitman is about stealth and not about bringing in a gun and act like some heroic Rambo. After ruining the FF now this company is setting on bringing down this great series?

First of all,it doesn't look like hitman but it looks more like Maxpayne.Secondly,Who is that old fart?Third, why are the textures horrible?

Seems like the concept art is the exact opposite of what people would expect. That's not 47, and he's not being very sneaky. A bad sign if this is where they're taking the series. If it gets any further away than Absolution, it just wouldn't be Hitman anymore. That's kinda the biggest complaint of Absolution, it made some good changes, but took too much out, and got too crazy with the story.

AWESOME PICTURE. However it doesn't scream "hitman" to me. I'm all for taking it in a new direction, but dont make it something it shouldnt be. 47 is the bomb though, hope they do good...

Love that picture. I can just imagine it being the stealth take down option when it comes to SE. No doubt each time you kill a target there will be a cinematic of the target dying in some spectacular fashion.

Imagine this series with yearly releases and using the same engine.  I hope not!

First Deus Ex had wrist blades and  a strange yellow filter now Hitman wants to be the Matrix or something, Command and Conquer removes base building. Well I'm just glad no one is taking my older games away from me :)

if you want "ultra" graphics in this game, on any gaming port - just increase the contrast level. and, you don't have to spent ~1500eur on a PC, like me.

Calm down everyone about Hitman falling apart and starts to be like CoD. They clearly said earlier this month that their next Hitman will be on the next gen console and that even Absolution could've waited until the nex gen.

This is just a concept for the upcoming "Hair DLC" that enables the main character's head to have natural hair.

The beginning of the end for Hitman

What? Agent 47 vs Adam Jensen? I thought that was a concept art of Deus Ex.

I'm certainly not going to lose my sh*t over a piece of concept art, but this does fit with a disturbing pattern with the way marketing and production have been completely misinterpreting or misrepresenting what make the Hitman series enjoyable and unique.

I look forward to seeing more about the game, despite its flaws (and all Hitman games have been flawed) Absolution was pretty damn good, even if it did broaden the definition of what one does and can do in a Hitman game. 

I really hope they don't turn this into some bullshit annual series. They alienated a fair few Hitman fans with Absolution (me not being one of them as I loved the game). Dont get rid of the ones you have left!

Weird concept looks weird btw, more like that douchebag sniper from Borderlands.

Is this some kind of joke? Absolution is great, different, but great. Really hope this "concept art" stays only in the concept.
