New FFXIII-2 DLC features Gilgamesh, Assassin's Creed costume
AKB48-designed costume also available for free; DLC arriving April 10 in Japan.
Final Fantasy fans looking for more things to do in the latest instalment can look forward to Final Fantasy XIII-2's new DLC arriving April 10 (provided they are playing the Japanese version of the game).
According to this week's issue of Famitsu (via Andriasang), Gilgamesh and KoyoKoyo will be available as combatants for the game's Coliseum Battle mode. Beating the former will allow players to recruit him as a commando class monster, while beating the latter will make it a healer in a player's party. Gilgamesh costs 400 yen and 360 MS for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, respectively. KoyoKoyo costs 200 yen and 240 MS for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, respectively.
Gilgamesh was a recurring character in the Final Fantasy series, making his debut in Final Fantasy V. KoyoKoyo was called PuPu back in the English version of Final Fantasy VIII.
New costumes are also available for protagonists Noel and Serah. The former will don Assassin's Creed's Ezio's trademark white costume, while Serah gets the Exposure and Defense blue outfit designed by a member of the Japanese pop group AKB48. Noel's costume will cost 300 yen and 360 MS, but Serah's new threads will be free.
At this point, Square Enix has yet to announce the availability of the DLC on US and Europe online channels.
