New Battlefield 1942 map available
EA releases a new Battle of Britain map for Battlefield 1942 that features a new plane and new radar defenses.
Following its announcement earlier this week, Electronic Arts has today released a free new map for Battlefield 1942. Set during the Battle of Britain, the map sees British players on the defensive as German pilots in new Junkers Ju88 heavy bombers attempt to ensure the success of Operation Sea Lion by disabling the RAF's coastal defense towers and the Harwich weapons factory on the southern coast of England.
Anyone wishing to play the map should first ensure that they've installed the version 1.4 patch. For more information on Battlefield 1942, which was released last September, check out our full review of the game.
