Valve is a private corporation, so they do not disclose their revenue. EA, Nexon and NCsoft beware . One day Valve on sales will reveal?And then they will buy them all EA , NEXON và NCsoft  . Or this is just a fake rumor

If this is really true, I'll laugh really hard when EA suddenly buys NCSoft in the future. Evil finds its way around. If Newell was serious with his comment about the EA proposal last time, he better not sell to anyone at all. Because there is a high chance that any game related company would end up being bought up by EA.

Newell and his team seem to still have plenty of gas in the tank to continue a trajectory of growth, so I doubt it makes sense for them to sell.  Usually you sell when you think you've peaked or desperately need more cash to continue growing.

Valve will not be bought. They rejected EA, they will reject everyone else. I think they have very ambitious plans for the future also...

Thank Christ for that update. I wouldn't see Valve ever being bought out anyways. Especially by a company like NCSoft. Screw them.

Gabe has always said he'd never sell the studio out.  I'm gunna stick by that statement.  Valve are just doing too well to want to EVER be sold out to some Asian devs.  What a load of rubbish.

As a Korean, I have to say that Nexon is no different to EA in terms of its tyrannical approach to games industry...  While EA just prices their games high, Nexon makes their online games nearly impossible to play unless you buy some micro-transactions... PLEASE.. Just leave Valve alone... :(

Considering what Gabe Newell had recently said responding to the story of Valve being bought out by EA, I'd say this has bogus written right under the headlines !!!

Why do I get the feeling this time next week GS will have the headline, "Joe, that guy across the street, to buy Valve?" this will of course be followed up by a required update from GS when they do actually decide to check the sources and say its total rumor.
