I have bought the DLC for U3 and it has been well worth it to me I enjoy using the different characters in MP and I enjoy the maps the redesign of great MP maps from U2. I will be getting this dlc looking forward to new maps for MP and possibly for co-op as well
A selection of screenshots for Uncharted 3's last piece of downloadable content are revealed in preparation for an April release.
When Naughty Dog confirmed the co-op Shade Survival mode for Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception earlier this month, it promised that the final piece of downloadable content for the game would drop in April, but offered no more details. Today, the developer dropped the first images of the final DLC: a selection of screenshots of two multiplayer maps.
The first, the Old Quarter, appears to offer a collection of buildings that hint at a Middle Eastern setting. The nighttime environment includes both interior and exterior areas, with lamps and hanging lights illuminating the map.
The second map shown is Graveyard, an offshore map made from a variety of rusting vessels and loading platforms.
Shade Survival DLC was free to Fortune Hunter's Club members, but pricing for the last wave of content is yet to be confirmed.

MEH. Still playing the SUPERIOR console version of Skyrim on Xbox and already have Tomb Raider so there's no need to play Uncharted. "Xbox 350 is the BEST console EVER made." --John Carmack
@buying1999 yeah you keep saying that until it needs repairing....again....and again. Uncharted cleans up every time, tomb raider is soooo 90's :)
@Ripper_TV They probably will release more DLC after this one releases, but this map pack is the final one that people who signed up for FHC get for free.
@FuryX-4 You have to hand it to the guy.. he's determined. I gave up thumbing him down, now I just find it amusing. Have you also noticed that if you ever try to talk to him he refuses to reply? Just a troll seeking a response and that is all. If folks stop paying attention he'll disappear.. Until then we have to make do with his 'greatest console ever made' nonsense.. My guess is the poor lad is just jealous of other gamers. Microsoft offer Kinect, Sony offer AAA exclusives. It's quite a crap deal really for hardened Microsoft fans.. hence his constant abuse to others.
I love Naughty Dog. I really can't wait for The Last of Us. (I don't mind DLC as long as it's worth it.) *cough cough*... c(r)apcom *cough*
As much as I disprove of the developers of my first video game ever 15 years ago participating in these DLC money grabs, at least they shipped a satisfying single player mode without anything cut out from it.
@Falmar I agree. Why limit it to just multiplayer? There are several times where I would like to shoot wave after wave of bad guys by myself. While I love playing survival with friends, I'd like to give myself a challenge every once in a while. But please, keep those damn Djinn out of it...
And yet, buying1999 is still here being pathetic with his advertising slogan. When will he fade away from Gamespot, seriously?
@UnwantedSpam Worst of all is that the survival isnt even available to offline singleplayer, it's or offline splitscreen or online mp. What if I wanted the play the survival mode alone?
I haven't seen a reason to purchase any Uncharted 3 DLC. I mean, I love the game, but the DLC is just...lacking in sustenance. All there is really is just handful of maps (mostly repeats), character skins(again, mostly repeats), and a new mode(which is the same survival mode with those Djinn that I hate so much, because they notoriously beat my ass in crushing difficulty). Cmon, Naughty Dog, you can do better than this.
Not that big of a fan of Uncharted, really disliked the combat in the first one, I wrote a review on it here on Gamespot and other then the platforming I haven't found interest in trying out Uncharted 2 or 3. Hey Naughty Dog, how 'bout a new Jak & Daxter?
i have been really annoyed so far with the DLC for uncharted 3, 90% of the dlc is OLD maps from the last game, i should of just stuck with uncharted 2. i was a fool to buy the FHC pack thinking i would get NEW things. How wrong was i....also match making is a joke, i dont play anymore but rank 20 being put with crazy people who are in the 50/60/70s +.....
nickel and dime.. nickel and dime.. arm and leg.. arm and leg.. what happened to shooting for greatness and having options.. nickel and dime.. nickel.. and effing dime..
Too bad they shilled there customers with the DLC, I'm pretty sure they even stated there was meant to be 2 lots of new maps and not just one based on what I've heard too but in the end if you pay in advance you are subject to whatever treatment they choose to give sadly.
@warhawk-geeby They are, I feel bad for people who payed for FHC...sure they got some skins, a game mode, and an extra co-op adventure level but up until now all of the map packs were maps from UC2.
Uncharted is by far one of my favourite series this generation.. I've owned all of them and loved all of them. They're brilliant. That said though I still haven't spent 1p on map-pack DLC.. I know it's not quite COD standard, but I still can't help feel they're taking their loyal customers for a ride :(
The final DLC should add something unique & add a breath of life to the game. We've seen new maps. How about new guns? Why didn't they do these hero/villain character skins again for uncharted 3? Playing as a Chimera in uncharted 2 online was amazing.
I need to get off my xbox and dust of my PS3 play this game...I quite liked U2, maybe get the DLC's if its decent enough. :)
I just wish they would have focused more on bringing Uncharted 3 related maps and less on rehashing Uncharted 2 maps. That and working to have the multiplayer not be so janky and filled with LAG!
