UK-based developer Argonaut has announced that two of its games have been signed up by Japanese publisher Namco. Namco will publish both games, which are scheduled for release late next year. The games in question are Orchid for the PS2 and Xbox and the previously unannounced I-Ninja for the PS2 and GameCube.

"We are delighted to be working with Namco on these highly exciting Argonaut games properties," said Jez San, CEO of Argonaut. "This marks the first significant contracts with a leading Japanese games publisher for Argonaut since our flotation, which will give us a solid platform to access both the significant Japanese and US games markets."

Little is known about I-Ninja at this time, except that it will be a third-person action-platform title. Orchid is a stylized 3D action game in which players assume the role of a young amnesiac girl who has just awakened from a coma and is being chased by a mysterious corporate army.
