Namco ships R: Racing Evolution
Namco announces the North American release of its racing game for all current-generation console platforms.
Namco has today announced the North American release of R: Racing Evolution for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube. The game features licensed vehicles that can be upgraded and modified and 14 tracks based on both real-world and fantasy locations.
"This isn't your typical racing game," said Yasuhiro Noguchi, senior director of research and development at Namco. "Incorporating awesome graphical quality and high-performance driving physics with a spectacular storyline, R: Racing Evolution is a fantastic balance of simulation and arcade racing."
R: Racing Evolution carries a recommended retail price of $49.95 and, as we reported in October, the GameCube version comes bundled with a free copy of Pac-Man vs. For more information on R: Racing Evolution, check out our previous coverage of the game.
