Evil Mirror and Bukkazoom, both due this year, are just the beginning for the new partnership.
Namco officials announced today that they will work with Denmark-based ITE, a creator of interactive television programs, to bring two of ITE's Hugo games to the American Game Boy Advance market. Kart-racer Hugo Bukkazoom!, due in March, lets players zip around a free-roaming universe in one of several karts and five different gameplay modes. Hugo: The Evil Mirror, slated for release in June, sends players on a puzzle adventure through 60 levels and three unique worlds to rescue Hugo from an evil witch named Scylla. Both games are designed for the 12-and-under set. "We hope Hugo: The Evil Mirror and Hugo Bukkazoom! are just the beginning of many successful game launches between ITE and Namco," said Jeff Lujan, business unit director for Namco Hometek.
