Namco Bandai unwraps E3 lineup
Eternal Sonata set for September, Culdcept Saga delayed until next year, Tekken 6, Soulcalibur IV, Hellgate: London not mentioned.
The Electronic Entertainment Expo kicks off in Santa Monica, California, next week, and while a number of questions remain regarding the revamped trade show, a sharper picture of the show is developing. Namco Bandai Games America today announced its lineup of games for the show, with five games for the Xbox 360, three each for the Wii, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation Portable, and two each for the PlayStation 3 and Nintendo DS.
For the Xbox 360, the publisher will be showing off Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation, Beautiful Katamari, Dynasty Warriors: GUNDAM, Culdcept Saga, and Eternal Sonata. Namco Bandai also updated release dates on that slate, with Eternal Sonata now expected in September, and Culdcept Saga delayed again, this time to the first quarter of 2008.
Dynasty Warriors: GUNDAM will also appear on the PS3, followed later this year by Time Crisis 4 (with the new Guncon3 peripheral). Rounding out the company's slate of new-generation console offerings is a trio of Wii games: Soulcalibur Legends, Namco Museum Remix, and Space Station Tycoon. Namco Bandai hasn't shifted entirely to the new wave of consoles, as PS2 players can still expect to see Digimon World: Data Squad, Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2, and .hack//G.U. Vol. 3: Redemption.
On the portable front, Namco Bandai has Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology and Smash Court Tennis 3, both slated for release on the PSP this month. The publisher will also show Naturo: Ultimate Ninja Heroes for Sony's handheld. Finally, the DS will see the appropriately titled Namco Museum DS on display, as well as Digimon World: Dawn and Dusk counterpart games.
As is often the case when a publisher releases a preshow slate of games, some big names were conspicuous by their absence. As of press time, Namco Bandai representatives had not responded to requests for comment on the status of other anticipated Namco Bandai titles, including Hellgate: London (which will be copublished in Europe and North America by Electronic Arts), Soulcalibur IV, and Tekken 6.

Gundam Dynasty Warriors did look intresting but it also looked really boring and slow. I know it's a beat-em-up, but they could have gave it a little more flair than what i saw.... But definitley looking forward to Eternal Sonata it looks good
Dynasty Warriors Gundam looks interesting but I'll have to investigate further before making a purchase.
When Namco-Bandai announces Death by Degrees II ? How many still to wait ? :(
I've heard that Katamari is confirmed for Wii now as well as 360.
Not bad Namco as consistent as ever
Some good games, too bad about Hellgate though.
Man they have some good games coming out
dynasty warriors gundam and tales of the world sounds tight
Namco Bandai is looking good.
i'm still upset with them about beautiful katamari... what about sony?
SCIV, I want you now!
I want to know TEKKEN 6 release date ... I can't hold up .
Hmm.... nice set of games ...
hrm... there's no mention of Warhammer Mark of Chaos expansion?? demn it! mark of chaos please!!! please please please!!!! huhuhuhuhu
the ps3 would never give up tekken to you xbox 360 fanboyz!!! wahahahahahaha wa wa waaaahahahahahha
I hope Tekken 6 follows Soul Calibur 2's footsteps. Multiplatform! I's time to expand this glorious franchise. Fighting games are not as popular as they once were; there are only benefits with releasing for the Xbox 360 as well. Do like Capcom, expand your best and biggest as much as you canç this is how Western publishers have been doing for years. Yo Go NAMCO!!!
Tekken 6 probably coming to xbox 360 cause xbox 360 is selling more than ps3 but i don't care i've got both
I hope Tekken 6 comes to 360. I'm assuming it will since Namco probably likes money and keeping games PS3 exclusive is basically pissing your money away.
Agreed.
can't wait for Tales of The world
I didn't realize untill now that Moma ryhmes with dalai lama......
Namco Bandai has a good lineup for this years E3.
Hopefully their reason for not responding to request for comment on Hellgate, Soulcalibur, and Tekken is because they're planning to release big news or provide a major amount of information on the titles during E3.
I hope Tekken 6 comes to 360. I'm assuming it will since Namco probably likes money and keeping games PS3 exclusive is basically pissing your money away.
Hmm id have thought that soul calibur IV would have got a mention seen as its one of thier most anticipated games imo. Same with tekken 6 realy. But im still excited about some of their othwer stuff.
Katamari is rumored to be 360 exclusive... they dropped it from their PS3 list some time ago read this http://blog.newsweek.com/blogs/levelup/archive/2007/06/14/how-microsoft-got-beautiful-katamari-exclusivity.aspx
Remember every company has surprises this may not be the full lineup im getting my hopes up for a soul calibur psp though its unlikely.
Namco Bandai has such a good line up ahead of them, and I want the lot of it. Anyone else notice how they didn't mention that Beautiful Katamari would be on the PS3? They also didn't say it was X360 exclusive; but still, this rumor is keeping me in suspense. Anyhow, I can't wait for Beautiful Katamari, Ace Combat 6, Eternal Sonata, or Dynasty Warriors: GUNDAM. I got to play the DW: GUNDAM through the available PS3 demos, though, I'm leaning toward the X360 version because I'm a whore for achievement points.
Looks like a good lineup.
Omega it will be for the arcades. Namco Bandai annouced that Tekken 6 will be for the arcades using the Cell processor. Why wouldn't they make SC4 for the arcades. That'd be stupid.....very stupid.
Soul Calibur IV was only just announced a bit ago, with no home consoles, or even an arcade release date, if there is one. The Wii exclusive title is listed, and it's Soul Calibur Legends.
Nice games from Namco-Bandai!?
cool
Incase most of you don't know like _AbBaNdOn Soul Caliber 4 is a Wii exclusive title =P
No Tekken 6 ? I guess they're concentrating on the ARC ver. first.
Damn! nothin bout the Tales game on the DS
They better make a ps2 Soul Calibur 4!!! I cant wait to see how they expand on character customization!!!
I want tekken and Soul caliber :(
I'm looking forward to the Tales game for the PSP. Hopefully it's gonna be good.
Fantastic line-up.
ok so i want katamari, but i only have a wii and ps2, so nothing for me on a console i have. and oher then checking out katamari to see what maybe the wii build will have, nothing
Woah, so no Katamari for PSN? Too bad.
good to hear
T6's arcade version isn't quite done yet, so I doubt they'll reveal anything about the home version just yet. Even though they're running on the same hardware. My guess is that the game, like T5, will hit the arcades in November, followed by a Feb console release.
I think Ubisoft is doing the new Naruto game. I'd expect some type of SCIV and Tekken 6 appearance at the show.
what about the new naruto game 360 was going to get ?
What about Tekken 6?
no mention on any new Tales games besides Radiant Mythology...*sigh.* i hope the ToS2 thing for Wii wont end up being just a rumor...hopefully they'll give us some stuff on Swords of Legendia too. is it a Tales spin off or what?
Eternal Sonata woo-hoo! looks really good...
I hope there's Tekken 6...
"Tekken 6, Soulcalibur IV, Hellgate: London not mentioned" :(:x
