Namco Bandai Games Announces Ship Date for Bounty Hounds for the PSP
Press Release
SANTA CLARA, Calif., (September 6, 2006) – Leading video games developer and publisher NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. announced today that its latest action title for the PSP (PlayStationPortable) system, Bounty Hounds, will ship to stores nationwide on Tuesday, September 12. Bounty Hounds takes portable action to a whole new level of on-the-go fun, boasting a variety of impressive features including a full arsenal of weapons, a thrilling dual weapon wielding feature, and a game sharing mode that allows players to go head to head using just one single UMD game.
Set hundreds of years in the future, Bounty Hounds tells the story of Maximilian, the fearless leader of a band of ruthless mercenaries whose sole job is to scout out planets deemed fit for habitation, take part in battle, or clean up fallen opponents after the battle takes place. Using stylistic comic-book like graphics in 2-D and 3-D cut scenes to tell the story, the single mode mission will unfold an intriguing plot surrounding the hostile aliens, greedy corporations and mysterious extraterrestrial intelligence.
The player takes on the role of Maximilian as he sets off on a journey to defeat different enemy alien species spread across a variety of forbidding planets. Using the impressive line-up of numerous weapons and armors featured in the game, free- roaming gameplay, and a dual weapon wielding feature that allows the player to use two different weapons at once to take down the enemy, Bounty Hounds is the ultimate portable action title for the PSP system.
Bounty Hounds will ship to retailers on Tuesday, September 12. For more information on the upcoming PSP system game, check out NAMCO BANDAI Games' official website at www.namcobandaigames.com.
