How long is it free? When to when? I kinda want a Vita, as it's the only gaming device I don't own yet but have been waiting since IDK if there's any games yet that could tear me away from my 3DS yet. Honestly, a free Motorstorm & I'd run & buy one tomorrow!
MotorStorm RC for PS Vita will be free
Gamers will be able to download handheld version of Sony's latest racer free of charge for a limited time thanks to a Scion sponsorship deal.
PlayStation Vita owners who broke the bank just getting their hands on the new portable can still afford to pick up MotorStorm RC, as Sony today announced the racing game will be free for a limited time.
Thanks to a sponsorship promotion from car manufacturer Scion, MotorStorm RC will be downloadable free of charge when it goes up on the PS Vita's online storefront tomorrow. The PlayStation 3 version of the game (also due tomorrow) will still cost $10.
The PS Vita version will be the complete MotorStorm RC, with 16 tracks in four settings. It will also have a variety of customizable RC vehicles including buggies, rally cars, big rigs, and monster trucks, as well as a Scion iQ exclusive to the portable.
Developed by series creator Evolution Studios, MotorStorm RC is a spin-off for the franchise, with the standard assortment of real-world vehicles replaced by remote-control counterparts. For more on the game, check out GameSpot's previous coverage of MotorStorm RC.
