Mortal Kombat Vita hitting May 1

i wonder if this game will have cross-play with the ps3 version and also if it will include all dlc from the console versions like it clearly shows on the box (same box art for komplete edition which does have all dlc)

| can't wait for it to be realist on psvita.It doesn't even look the same on xbox and ps3 its like a hole new game and the first thing is I would be rain.

I'm patiently waiting for this game to be release for my PS Vita. The first thing I want to do is play through the Story Mode with all the characters. The Challenge Tower is going to kick arse "handheld style."

May 1st 2012. Mortal Kombat is a first day purchase for me. The twin analog sticks and back panel touch screen should be excellent form this game.

The mini games and challenge tower will be awesome with the Vita's touch screen.

@R-ZZZ A PC version of the game would be nice , I think , at least... But last I heard they said they are finished with this MK and are moving to another MK project which is a new installment...

i really want to try it out, i loved it on the ps3 although the game really grinds your gears when you play online... some people are really effin good :( but the new features this one has looks sick

@R-ZZZ Actually, the developers said to Kotaku that they haven't ruled out the possibility of a PC version... but that was back in 2010. ...Guess they ruled it out at this point.

@Quezakolt Actually the previous version of MK wasn't a ripoff. I had more modes and content than all of modern fighters combined, including epic story mode, cemetery and challenged tower. It had both normal and TAG fighting and featured ALL of MK1 trough MK3 characters (With some from UMK). MK even had full online with spectator, replays, king of the hill and many other features The game you should be talking about is any modern fighter from Capcom which always comes out barebones, then gets DLC and then gets a proper version with features that should have been in the original.

@QOSMSTR Demons Souls on the Vita - will also result your Vita being tossed out of the bus after a spontaneous screams of anger in a bus full of people... :)))

thanks for showing me how ripped-off i was by buying the game when it came out, it sucks to have to pay so much more even today for all the DLC characters. I didn't buy them, and I won't, and it sucks. bleh. It seems like the industry is doing all it can to push people away from getting something new on day one.

3D Mortal Kombat just doesn't have the same "attitude" as the early ones.

This game is not a direct port. It features new costumes for the fighters and new challenge tower missions.

Glad to see there's so many people excited for this. I'm a little dissapointed it's just a port of the same version 360/PS3 have had almost a year now. The problem with that is I've played the 360 version to death, including all DLC characters...which leaves me no motivation to start the Vita version from scratch. I hope it sells well, but I'll be passing on it.

@gc88, what console ports would that be? As far as Im aware this is the first direct port, and besides its been worked on to make us of the PSvita's technology.

Kome on! I played the PS3 version to death but having this gory fun game on a handheld is something else. Plus those challenge tower mission were meant to be played on a portable in short bursts.

Here's hoping NetherRealm make use of the camera and let us finally put our own faces with a kreate-a-kharacter mode.If not just put MK TRILOGY & MK SHAOLIN MONKS on the PSN so we can download them on our psvita.Man...could you picture those two games on the psvita...that would be MOST AWESOME...please & thank u.:):):)

even though i have mortal kombat for ps3, this looks like a lot of fun. I think i'm gonna pick it up.

That's good and all but my question is this,will Mortal Kombat Vita be part of the Kollectors edition or not? If so I will just wait until the Kollectors Edition later of the Vita but then again, I can just get it on PS3 but I still want it on Vita.

With Vita flopping all over the world, it'll be lucky if this game sells 10k.

Makes me want a Vita even more, but I'm still waiting til the model 2.
