i wonder if this game will have cross-play with the ps3 version and also if it will include all dlc from the console versions like it clearly shows on the box (same box art for komplete edition which does have all dlc)
Mortal Kombat Vita hitting May 1
NetherRealm's portable fighting game coming to Sony's portable in North America in just over a month; European launch on for May 4.
Touch-screen fatalities will become reality this May. Mortal Kombat for the PlayStation Vita will launch in North America on May 1, publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has confirmed. A European release is slated for May 4.
Previously, Mortal Kombat for the PS Vita was expected to arrive sometime this spring. Created specifically for Sony's new portable, the game sports a new Challenge Tower mode with 150 missions. Additionally, the game makes use of the PS Vita's touch screen by enabling players to swipe a finger across the screen to perform a fatality.
Mortal Kombat for the PS Vita will be the second entry in the popular fighting series to hit shelves in as many years. Last April, NetherRealm shipped the Mortal Kombat reboot to a warm critical reception and sales of over 3 million.
