New supposed artwork for Rockstar Games' upcoming open-world title surfaces depicting quad-bike and sniper rifle weapon.
More artwork for Grand Theft Auto V has appeared. All Games Beta has posted a new piece of art claiming to be from Rockstar Games' much anticipated open-world title, the focus of which is a scruffy-looking man sitting on a quad-bike while wielding a sniper rifle.
This news follows an announcement from Rockstar Games last week that a new trailer for GTAV had been delayed due to a Hurricane Sandy-related power outage at the company's New York City office. Power has returned to much of the Big Apple as of Monday, November 5.
A quad-bike is not the first mode of transportation that has been teased for GTAV. Previously released screenshots suggested that road bikes, dirt bikes, sports cars, helicopters, and jets may be controllable in Rockstar's new game.
GTAV is due out worldwide during spring 2013. The game has been announced only for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. For more, check out GameSpot's previous coverage of GTAV.

1 Like Art looks like it's out in the dessert. Reminds of the desert in San Andreas. Maybe this is our "hillbilly/hick/redneck" character.
2 Like Bring back Chainsaws, gore, and give us police stations, banks, and Court houses you can enter. I thought it was wrong how you could go on a rampage in a hospital in gta 4, but you couldn't enter any police stations, banks, or courthouses. i think it would be a great stress reliever for GTA fans to rampage through a courthouse or cop station.

Ahh delayed PC version I see. HMM, OK watever just make sure it aint a bad console port.....
Bah, who am I kidding?......a Bad console port is better than no game at all... (Only when it comes to GTA will I stoop to such low standards, As if we gotta choice... ;) )

I miss the Gym (makes CJ become strong or fat), the bike, the quad bikes, like deadpleasant said...
And how exactly do you know this? You got an inside scoop on it that nobody else has? We don't know anything about the game yet so how can you say it's empty?
Cool to see the quad bikes back. I wonder if they will bring back more niche vehicles like the street sweeper or ride on mower or the go cart.
@deadpeasant if you are only getting excited over vehicles, GTA V really isnt going to be much better than the previous entries
@Metallicwolf29 In that case, you chose the least appropriate set of comments to respond to. Both Deadpeasant and I were referencing features and vehicles that were in San Andreas or earlier. All you're doing in the end is inadvertently saying we might get our wishes fulfilled.
@mrklorox There are several comments regarding the vehicles as well as it being mentioned in the article itself. Maybe you missed it. Ppl have every right to speculate and predict anything they want and judging gta's track record, the game has been relatively the same since vice city

All I see are people saying they hope they bring back the specialty vehicles they had in San Andreas. What's hilarious is people's responses trying to downlpay other's responses as if they have some insider info.
@mrklorox I'm trying to say that the game hasnt evolved much and the fact that ppl are going crazy over atv type vehicles is hilarious.
@deadpeasant It would also be good if they made the functions on the specialty vehicles functional again. Like working the forks on the forklift, or lowering the ramp on the car carriers. I'm still dumbfounded that you can't do stuff like this in GTA4.

@deadpeasant @Blitzk13g Yeah, Tommy Vercetti was cool, though CJ as a character was terrible- he didn't seem to have any depth or development throughout the series.
@Harrydapro @deadpeasant CJ was the real "vida loca"... the gangsta, you know? He's the true GTA guy... smart for the streets haha

@gamergath @Blitzk13g i am not sure but i think i read about a wall in GTA IV that have the names of alot of past gta games characters and mention they are dead by 2008.

@gamingfrendly You read a wall in GTA IV that names of the past game characters are dead? I doubt. You know why, GTA V will focus on a new era. I believe that if its back to San Andreas, some characters will appear as Cameos. That's what I believe. ;-D

@gamingfrendly @Blitzk13g @gamergath GTA4 is a different universe. The characters in previous GTA games never existed in this universe, therefore they cannot be dead, per se. That graffiti is just an easter egg referencing the previous games. Not some sort of deep insight into the fate of the previous protagonists, implying that it's the same Liberty City, or anything like that.
@essam24 I don't know get it for both systems because you have friends on both sytems that are going to get it.
