Montezuma's Return Shapes Up

By Kate Hedstrom

One of the hits from the 80s, Montezuma's Revenge, returns.

Utopia gave GameSpot News a look at some art from the upcoming Montezuma's Return, a first person 3-D action-adventure game that emphasizes puzzle-solving over blasting everything away. Utopia calls it a cross between Tomb Raider, Turok, and Super Mario 64.

The game's engine allows for six degrees of freedom, and your character will have to fight, jump, swim, and climb ropes.

The predecessor to Montezuma's Return, Montezuma's Revenge from the mid-80s, will be bundled with the game.
