MKII beats down PS3s this week

Mk2 was the best in the series as far as 2D games. It made MK1 feel clunky and slow. Personally I liked MK4 ok. Deception wasn't bad but once the fighter genre changed to "memorize 50,000 combos" I pretty much lost interest in all of them.

Why am I not surprised that I upset the 2 dozen v1rg1n5 that bought the console? Poor Stupid los3rs!

This is cool. MKII is definately the best of the series. I know this is an older game but with this and the other games i have on my PS3 it's getting plenty of play time. I reallty don't understand what people are talking about waiting for more games on the PS3. I'm actively playing 5 games and I don't have Motostom , VF5 or Splinter Cell yet. I'm not going have time for all these games.

Does anyone know when it will be released for Europe?

For you complaining about "This isn't UMK3".... MKII was the best of the series. UMK3 was push game. Playing off the hype that the series had. It wasn't nearly as fun. This is great news for the PS3. With Tekken DR and now this, the DLC is getting better.

How are people making this out to be anything but good, MKII is one of the best fighting games of all time, shut up with the "it's not street fighter", or whatever else, it's a great freaking game with great features and it's cheap.

I agree with autobotsx. Get some kind of Street Fighter or X-men v.s. Street Fighter on there. Make it worth my wild.

They need Street Fighter 3rd Strike online play that will be awesome that game is all about skill

also the umk3 on the 360 does not lag at all ive got it. also where is street fighter 2. this is one of the greatest fighters ever. Glad i got a 360 for this year. hope the ps3 gets better soon. might get one in september if the games coming out are amazing. time will tell.

man that is weird why didn't they make umk3 instead of mk2 i mean the 360 has it.

hopefully there won't be that many glitches or lag for the online play but other than that i can't see this game being nothing more than a must have. MOOORTAAAAAAAL KOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMBBBBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!

I hear you too, why would you want to pay to play it, when you can do it for free? The only reason, would be the online mode, which is good enough for $5 measy dollars. But then again, you've spent $600 for a system, and you're playing this? Come on Sony, give us GRAW! Give us those next-Gen games!

I have UMK3 on my x360 and now I'll have MKII on my PS3.

cant wait. best MK ever and now with online play. alot better than UMK 3 on XBLA, too much lag and crappy 360 d-pad. MK2>MK1>(MK3,UMK3,MKTrilogy)>MK4>(MKDA,MKD,MKA).

Yay for my favorite MK game. This was the last fighting game I really played very much. I played it all the time with my brothers. I was also really bad at it. My little brother could beat me about 4 out of 5 times no matter which character he used. Could be fun to try it out.

The denial is so thick you can taste it. MKII is easily the best of the series, far better than UMK3. Don't even try pretending otherwise! For the record I don't have a PS3 or 360 and will likely get a 360 but I am not going to start talking rubbish pretending UMK3 is better than MKII.

MK Trilogy? I mean MK3 was crappy, but MK Trilogy? Why do you do this to yourselves people? why? And yes Street Fighter series is better than MK series as it didn't lose its ways...

Only MK2? XBL has had UMK3 for some time now... Yes, exactly why I'll be getting this but skipped on MK3. That's the game where the series started going south, adding 3 identical robots and 8 identical ninjas and a policeman named Stryker kinda killed it for me......

I would love it even better if they got Arc System Works who make Guilty Gear to make their own version of Street Fighter using a License to make like a good looking game with High Resolution Sprites!! NooBAFIED, I do know what you mean by that, I'll explain to some who may be confused. I've noticed I think all XBOX LIVE ARCADE games available have all had Demo Versions available for every user which is great if you wish to try it out before you buy while PLAYSTATION STORE gives you a limited number of titles as Demo Versions. I would like to see more demo versions available for their downloadable games. Other than that, at least the PlayStation Store is progressing nicely, but I would prefer it to be in the XMB under its own section like how the new XBOX 360 update is going to have the Marketplace in its own section because like many others, I don't like it in the browser. Back to subject and conclusion, TOASTIE!!!
