Mizuguchi to unveil new game at TGS
Creator of Lumines and Meteos writes in his blog that he's ready to unveil his latest music-fueled game hybrid later this week.
TOKYO--Tetsuya Mizuguchi will be unveiling a new game at this week's Tokyo Game Show. The famed producer and president of Q Entertainment announced on his blog that he is currently developing another "qb"-label game, which will be announced at Bandai's booth during the event.
Mizuguchi has released two games under the label thus far: Lumines for the PSP and Meteos for the Nintendo DS. Much like those two popular puzzlers, the new game will be, as Mizuguchi puts it, "a fusion between music and video game." Mizuguchi adds that he will unveil the game's name on his blog right before the Tokyo Game Show.
Mizuguchi will also be showing Ninety-Nine Nights for the Xbox 360 at Microsoft's booth, although it's unknown if the game will be playable. The official site for Ninety-Nine Nights will launch simultaneously with the opening of the Tokyo Game Show on September 16.
