Midway teams with Stan Winston
Stan Winston Productions will help produce Midway's upcoming Area 51 game.
Midway has announced that it has teamed with Stan Winston Productions to work on the upcoming action adventure game known as Area 51. The Stan Winston team will be handling the design of some of the alien creatures that will appear in the game.
"We are thrilled to work with a creative legend like Stan Winston," said Helene Sheeler, vice president of marketing at Midway. "Stan will bring a tremendous amount of talent and ingenuity to the creation of Area 51, which is sure to be a blockbuster title for us."
Area 51 allows players to use three different characters as they attempt to work their way through the heavily guarded military installation and discover the secrets it holds. It's currently scheduled to ship on the GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox in the fall.
