Midnight Purple 3DS hitting May 20

That is a sexy looking 3DS. I wish that had come out at launch.

I actually got a sneak peak at one of these in person yesterday...  and let me say this...  it is so pretty and I am sooooo  going to be getting one! :)

Might have to get this one after all...

Now im between the black or the purple one. Looks great purple

I admit, that thing looks pretty good. One thing I like about Nintendo is that they have a wide variety of colors for their systems. PS Vita: Black, Silver. 3DS: Black, Blue, Red, Pink, Purple, and plenty of Limited Edition. PS3: Black (As far as I know) Wii: White, Black, Red, Blue.

PURPLE looks so damn niceeee, but i wanna waiitt cuz they might come out with GREEN or YELLOW. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D but then again i dnt wanna wait lol

@Xplode_77 they are releasing a green 3ds as part of a bundle with Luigi's Mansion 2, it is kinda a dark green from the pictures I've seen of it

This would have been a perfect color for a Majora's Mask 3D release.

I got the Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary 3DS and I am really happy with it but purple looks great! Very sleek.

Nintendo should rename it "Gary Oak Purple" and put a picture of Gary Oak on the front. 101% best selling color. :P

I'd love my 3DS to be in that colour - looks very nice indeed. However, even in black with silver trim, my Vita blows it out of the water as far as looks go.

Luigi's Mansion should get a Green 3DS along side it's release.

That looks really good. Probably the best colour choice.

I hope they bring the Cobalt Blue to the US. I like my Cosmo Black 3DS, but the Cobalt Blue will be my second choice. :)

not much for purple but that don't look bad

Maybe they should fix the screen scratching problem before throwing out thousands of colours. I bought the ice white wich got released just a few months ago it still gets scratches and I'm not even carrying it around. In terms of build quality the 3DS is miles behind the DSi..

Aqua, Black, Red, Pink, White, Blue, now Purple. What's next, Green? :)

Midnight Purple 3DS looks great. :)

They should just launch with lots of colors. It takes no more effort. They just get people to buy them then buy a new color that they want.

If they bring Japan's white one or a green one to the U.S,40% of me will die. I have the blue one which is great,and of course the new colors don't change the system at all,but green is my favorite,and the white one looked beast.Knowing I'm stuck with blue would hurt. Oh,the purple looks great by the way.

Purple is my favorite color! I am obligated to get this for sure! I already have a black one, but ever since the day they showed a purple one at E3 last year I've been wanting one. Thank you Nintendo.

I want it, is this coming to Europe soon ? Maybe on E3 the announce it :P

If I ever have to replace the one I have, I'm getting this. I just wish they'd concentrate on releasing some decent games instead of the hardware.

I haven't played my 3DS in two monthes, waiting on Kingdom Hearts 3D...

Now I'm not sure what 3DS color to get. Oh, the decisions.

I wish they bring out that Dark Blue/Cobalt Blue one Stateside already not the Teal/Turqoise one. It'd remind me of my Cobalt Blue GBA SP. It's a shame none of the newer tech/handhelds don't go see-thru anymore, too. I had a purple gameboy color. I hope the (ideal) next version of the 3DS (with a better 3D filter, 2 slide pads, 4 shoulder buttons, better battery life, etc.) comes out with a deep blue and green color.

So now we have all but one of the pikmin colors. Red, blue, white, purple, and now all we need is yellow!
