Microsoft to start $10 hits program

Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, Soul Caliber 2 and Morrowwind were all great deals. The rest of those games stunk.

All pretty decent games specially PGR2 and Rainbow.

Everyone should check out Rainbow Six 3. Best when served with a helping of XBox LIVE.

I'm a pc gamer but I'm a bit impressed.

I need to get me some Counter-Strike, now that it's backwards compatible and all.

Good for CS, PGR2 and SCII. All others, mehhh...

hopefully this list gets eexpanded by end of year so i can go on a christmas xbox gaming spree

that's a pretty weak list..... but selling games for $10 is always good.

I agree RX, Soul Calibur II can hold it's own against any fighting game to date. Spawn is awsome in M$ version of this game.

I'm gonna slap the taste out of everyone that is COMPLAINING about 10 dollar new games!!! There are some good titles. Splinter Cell Pandora Tommorow..10 bucks. That game is barely worse than Chaos Theory, its a great deal. Elder Scrolls III gameplay was TERRIBLE!! The fighting was so horrid. Enter the Matrix was decent. 10 bucks is a good price for these games. I already have SC II. But for 10 bucks, ALL MUST BUY SOUL CALIBUR II, 10 bucks for SC II is one of the greatest deals in gaming history.

this may be there stragedy for the xbox360 some of these may be BC for the xbox360 soon,(some are already anyways) so people who dont have these games which are all good hits can possibly play them in HD someday

Splinter Cell 1 & 2 for $10 each? If I owned an X-Box I'd be all over this stuff like a PS2 fan on androgynous RPG characters.

Hey hoe about Fusion Frenzy on the 360!!

This is an interesting move made by microsoft. Drawing new gamers or "CHEAP" gamers could be the driving force but another possible motive could be the Used Game market. Companies hate the used games are being sold and traded. Most of these games are being offered used for around this price ( and lower). If you had the choice of buying this game used for $5 or a brand new unopened version for $10, many will grab the new one (except the "CHEAP" gamers ;D ). This move will in no way stop the used game market but it the time frame that it takes a game to go from $59.99 to $9.99 could be shortened, it definitely could start eating into it.

Wow $10 is ultimatel CHEAP many ppl who ont own a Xbox will surely want to Buy some Now:D an hen games like HALO and Ninja Gaiden ome for that Cheap i dont know WHAT will happen:P

Circuit City often liquidates unsold video games for cheap, and frankly, they've started doing it to most of their Xbox games. Morrowind better be the game of the year edition, because that was only $30 when released, and the regular version is buggy.

LOL...Fusion Frenzy. I'm all for cheap games, so this sounds like a good idea to me. I still pay $30 for good GBA remakes of SNES games, so $10 classic Xbox games seems like a good deal.

I knew that I wasn't seeing things in Circuit City the other day when I saw that Pandora Tomorrow and even Max Payne 2 (Which isn't listed), have hit the $10 price tag.

For those who bad mouthed Shrek 2, have you guys played the game? It was actually pretty good. Simple yes but had a lot of variety and the multiplayer was fun.

Yes!!!! More people will buy Soul Calibur 2 now!! And what's more is that some games (Soul Calibur 2, Splinter Cell, THUG, MechAssault) actually fit the pricing. And I agree with wolfie on his statement. It is nice to offer some good titles to the monetarily-challenged. But I don't know why they nixed Halo off the list.

Wow. If I didn't already own Morrowind and Soul Calibur 2, now would be the time to get htem. I suppose all of those weird people who bought the PS2 or Gamecube versions of SC2 now have a good excuse to try out the Xbox version (and see just how bad-ass Spawn can be). $10 isn't exactly a lifetime commitment.

9.99 for a game? Fry's has been doing this already. Morrowind 9.99 @ Fry's 19.99 @ Gamestop
