Why not just give us a free Kinect, because I never used mine often, and after 2 months of not using it, I turned it on, and it was broken. Great, more Microsoft crap.
Microsoft offering free Kinect game until Monday

New Kinect Central home page on Xbox Live offers mansion-exploring Haunt title from Parappa the Rapper studio for free until Monday.
Gamers searching for a free Kinect game are in luck. From today until Monday, Microsoft is offering the Kinect-exclusive mansion-exploring game Haunt for free. The title can be accessed through the just-launched Kinect Central homepage on Xbox Live, according to the announcement from Xbox Live director of programming Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb.
Normally, Haunt sells for 800 MS points, or $10. Developed by PaRappa the Rapper studio NanaOn-Sha, Haunt launched early this year and has players exploring Benjy's Mansion, a haunted house full of ghouls and mystery.
The Haunt giveaway is for Xbox Live users in the United States only. Microsoft made no mention of extending the offer to other regions. For more on Haunt, check out GameSpot's review.

1 Like My Kinect tends to gather dust but I grabbed the demo for this a couple weeks ago. Saw it for free and had to grab it. It really is a decent title full of mindless-fun. Best use of walking mechanics thus far. (not perfect, but best I've seen)
for everyone outside of the U.S., you can still get it for free, just make a new hotmail account, when it asks for your info, choose united states, 10012 for a zip code and a phone number with a NY structure,join xboxlive on your xbox and link this newly created account to an offline profile, and thats it, i do not know if the zip code or the phone number really matter, but better safe than sorry, anyway i am mexican an i am downloading it right now

@slayerSS-3 I think it is probably an export restriction or some agreement with the developer not to spread it to the four winds.
6 Like Haunt is actually a decent game. People will always hate on the Kinect, even when they don't own one. In any case, you have to have your Kinect plugged in to get the update that provides the FREE game. If you don't have a Kinect, you can't get the free game. As soon as I plugged in my Kinect, the update popped up. Haunt is over 700MB in side. Thanks M$.
WTF?! I don't care about the Xbox, I just can't believe the Parappa team is working for the Xbox! I guess Parappa 3 really is a dream...

Well, free offers aren't that common, I guess. News of sales on better games would be more helpful to me though.

Basically Microsoft is says "fuck the rest of the world, if you're not in USA you're a savage and an animal". And i don't know how they got that crap of Windows sell so damn well. I used to defend Xbox but to hell with it! PS3 all the way...

@Dragon_Nexus I already owned a PS3 idiot! Because of the heaps of exclusives that the PS3 had i always wanted to have both Xbox and PS, and now that i do, i can see that PS3 is better. Learn to interpret what people are saying
And it's not just because i don't get the freebie, it's a matter of principles. I have a Kinect too, and even though i still think it's an awesome hardware, man how do i regret having bought it... As if weren't enough having only Rise of Nighmares as a good game, the voice command doesn't work if you're not in the USA, even though i clearly know how to speak.
Besides, you need Live Gold just to PLAY online, PS does that for free, with a monthly subscription for PS+ you get awfully a lot of stuff. Ratchet and Clank All 4 One, Lara Croft and the Guardian of the Light, Hard Corps Uprising, Virtua Fighter 5, Infamous 2, LBP2 and some more indie titles were all for free in a sigle month of plus.
@y3ivan Read above, yes, you need to be plus, still, compared to a indie kinect game the Sony pack is better, you don't have any privilege by being Gold so...
