Microsoft E3 briefing set for June 10

Xbox maker's 2013 presentation set for Monday, June 10 at Galen Center in Los Angeles.
Microsoft announced today that its 2013 Electronic Entertainment Expo briefing will take place the morning of Monday, June 10 at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California.
Microsoft said last month that it will use its E3 2013 presentation to "showcase our full lineup of blockbuster games," among other things.
The presentation will take place just 19 days after Microsoft's May 21 event titled "Xbox: The Next Generation Revealed." The company is widely believed to announce its long rumored Xbox 360 successor during this presentation, taking place at Microsoft's headquarters in Redmond, Washington.
With Nintendo not holding its typical E3 presentation this year, Sony is the only member of "The Big Three" that has not yet detailed its plans for the annual trade show.

like I previously mention in here, Microsoft should start their press conference by telling the world that the long rumor that's been going around, about the always on internet connection system rumor is false, and that a always online connection is not needed to play games. Then after that let me know about your system, your Kinect and how powerful it will be and let me know and see some footages if they are available of some of your upcoming games that you working for Xbox 720. If Microsoft wants to star their press conference in a wining way, that's the way it should start.
Seriously been super excited for these next couple of months since I heard the PS4 conference get an official date.
E3 is going to be next gentastic.

@R2C25 @HowlPendragon Even if that were true it beats the hell out of multiple DVDs (L.A. Noire = 3 discs) and a shitty subscription service.

I'm talking games that can measure up to God of War, Uncharted, Little Big Planet, Last of Us, flOw, Journey, Closure, Heavy Rain, Infamous, Killzone, Ni No Kuni.
Yes, its still just an opinion, but its a fact that there are much less games that have received the same amount of worldwide praise those have for the Xbox.
@Redsyrup lol! That's a good one. I still have hopes that they not gonna be dumb enough to released a always on internet console to play games. I guess we gonna have to wait and see for that one.
3 Like Getting a PS4 and will get the next Xbox on day 1. I just plead that they have new IPs and don't push the same tired franchises with stupid timed exclusives.

The cost to develop games will increase, and they will have to make up that loss somehow.

@rasterror PS4 hasn't been revealed, only announced! They have to reveal it at E3 or there is something seriously wrong with Sony!!!

7 Like Seating capacity of just over 10,000. Should be entertaining. Good or bad, I'm very intrigued as to what M$ has in store. Also looking forward to the day people (including supposed "professional" journalists, cough Eddie, cough) stop calling it 720 :p
2 Like it's actually rather smart to announce the console so close to E3. That way, they can try and dominate headlines for the weeks prior to E3, generating a lot of interest for their booth at the conference, which may let them dominate headlines for even longer.
well, unless always-on is confirmed, then it may backfire :P
6 Like I'll just be happy when they finally say the console itself won't require an always online connection. All these idiots taking rumor as fact are getting annoying especially the ones that think "always online" games won't be on the PS4 as well.
1 Like @JayQproductions Clearly you haven't been reading before posting; that was not the issue, there will be MMOs and MMOFPSs coming to both systems, but the rumor was that the 720 would require internet to function at all. THAT is what people are upset about..

And yes i know the fact that the console might require a constant internet connection is the big problem, but there are also idiots on here every day claiming the PS4 won't have games that are always online when it actually will because Sony is giving the publishers control over anti-piracy measures so if the publisher wants their game to require an always online connection, it will even if it's a single player only game and not an MMO.
No they won't. Most console games don't have the money or time to try to flip over to PC gaming. There are great games on every platform. You'd be a bias fool to believe otherwise.

@blackace @MjnE Trolling fail if I ever saw one. That article you've pasted on 3 different articles now (as far as I know) isn't the bad news you make it out to be. That's just Sony's executive being smart about their business. They're sacrificing their money and not becoming as greedy as M$ by doing that.
If M$ had the executives Sony has it would have probably been making back all its money it blew for the 360 a long time ago. I don't expct you to know this, but they spent $7.5B on the 360 and are almost done making all of it back, now that the generation's over. Now that's some smart business.
